The title is misleading since the lighter itself is a tool, and the spray can containing combustible material may also be considered a tool. A tool is any device or apparatus that allows one to do something that cannot be done with the body alone, or allows one to do something faster/safer. Also, all you did was seat the bead the rim and not actually "put the tire on the rim". Still, it is a cool way of seating the tire bead.
