I am 38 so I was not a witness to this great man...But I was there when our next president was announced...One of my first thoughts was of JFK...See my wife is a black woman so she was my first thought...As I write this through my tears I am so proud of JFK (Im Irish too)...What a great documentary...I love you for posting this...One day I will visit this exhibit with my two sons and I will show them that they are here because of what the man in this car died for.

The limousine is the primary crime scene of the assassination. It was gutted down to metal and rebuilt a few weeks after the assassination. The re-enactment of the Warren Commission used a completely different car. Are you so comfortable with the WCR that you don't want to look at what actually happened?

It was "spoon fed" just part of the evidence by the FBI.

The FBI controlled all evidence in accordance with the Whitehouse. Hint... hint.

The FBI (and LBJ) had an agenda.

They gave the Warren Commission only enough information to get a decision from it that there was a loan assassin.

The Warren Commission was "controlled" in this regard.

It produced the outcome it was designed for.

At the JFK Remembered exhibit (Minnesota State Fair) I stood by the replica limousine and answered questions about it and the actual limo. Most people could not understand why the actual limo was gutted and rebuilt a few weeks after the assassination.

I just spend the better part of 12 days with the replica limousine which was featured at the JFK Remembered exhibit at the Minnesota State Fair. The limo is very elegant and beautiful. This replica limo is also featured in the upcoming Discovery Channel program (I am also interviewed) to air starting around November 4,2008.

It's peculiar to see that this limosine does not have the Presidential Seal on the sides and doors like the modern fleet has in the presidential motorcade. My personal favorite is the 1983 Cadillac Fleetwood during the Reagan Administration, followed by the 1972 Lincoln Continental used during the Nixon Administration. All classics.

Agree with the comment at 1:43...the limo should have been left the way it was. And another thing--why didn't Ford restore the car to its 11/22/63 configuration when it came to the Ford museum?

By the time the limo was retired from service and given to the Henry Ford Museum it had been used, not only by JFK, but by LBJ, Nixon and Carter. There was never a thought given to trying to return it to the 1963 configuration, as it had been so completely changed with the metal plates and heavy glass. It is unfortunate for everyone that we do not have a 1963 version available. But then, if that were the case, we would have answers to the assassination too.

Well, I disagree, especially considering the fact that I don't believe we have all the answers yet. But this program does a great job of showing the limo's relationship to JFK and how it showcased his youth and charm. The parade footage is particularly good in that regard.

If so I would suggest you read Reclaiming History. 1600 pages plus another 200 pages on cd with evidence and testimony from witnesses, with the warren commision, HSCA and all other commitees. The best and most comprehensive read. Im glad they did notstay long on the conspiracy issue
