  • lol cant even tuck

  • please answer my question, i got the evo in the states, had lots of hills, loved it, moved back to my moms in canada and its flat, no hills to bomb, so ive been tryin to do standies lately but i can only get to about 90 then i bail, my trucks are really tight and i have to take my trucks apart to loosen them. I want to buy a switchblade, but i cant afford it at the moment, can someone help me with my problem?

  • ...and then you stinkbug the finish. *sigh*

  • DOOD! ur so gud, r u sponsured?

  • seriously, research it. the evo was designed around 35* 160mm randal trucks, not shitty ass bears that make the front angle 67* and feel like crap.

just because they are the same company, doesn't mean they are made for each other. you don't see any drop carves with $300 smokies.

  • @dstolman48 straight up finally somebody that knows wats up

  • @dstolman48 I don't think you should call Bear trucks shitty, seeing as they're some of the best on the market.

  • @DeJay323

that would be your opinion. i have ridden probably 20 different types of trucks, and bears are probably in the bottom 5 as far as quality of ride goes. so my opinion is that they are shitty.

  • lol learn to tuck

  • What's your setup??

  • hows this board go turning quickly with the longwheel base?

  • @secco549

lol loosen your trucks a bit

  • That spot looks rad! didnt know wanguard was good for that kindof hills. now i know :) flex 1?

  • Omfg!! You guys arnt just doing a straight bomb? this hill looks fast if you tucked all the way down.

  • i didnt know AL BORLIN from tool time rides longboards awesome hahaha! hit me up Borlin

  • freedom :D

  • where is this?

  • i dont see where the vanguard came in

  • @LoadedChangesLives the guy holding the camera is on the vanguard

  • I wanna get this board can someone give me a good setup? I have no clue what bearings are good or trucks/wheels

  • @Ri1seAgainst trucks 180 randall 42s baseplate

wheels anything bigger 75mm abec 11 got some nice stuuf

  • @JordanBCarlson would Orangatang stimulus 70mm's be any good I like the way they look purple

  • @Ri1seAgainst stims would be really drifty. you might want a grippy wheel if you plan on doing downhill. a evo lose alot of grip due to the drop deck design

so downhill wheels for a evo would be: abec 11 centrax, nersh money hax, landyatchz monster hawgs> abec 11 bigzigs.

  • @Ri1seAgainst If u like the look of the Stims, look into the purp inheats or 4prez. They are the same hardness and stuff just the race formula

  • @Ri1seAgainst if you want to downhill with this board dont get randals get bear trucks and dont get stims probly the worst wheels for downhill

  • @incAshton

you do realize that the evo was designed around randal dh trucks, right? due to the wedge in the front, the angle with bears would be around 67 degrees, making for a really funky turn.

  • @dstolman48 that is just so wrong. evos are made for bear trucks and precisions. bear and lanyachtz are ajoined companies. the same as loaded and orangatang. ( which is a shame because loaded sucks but orangatang is sick) but seriously. do some reserch before you post confusing stuff.

  • @123456789longboard

Yeah you're actually wrong. With the +15* Wedging on the front, you'd be at 67*, like Dstolman said, which is NOT suitable for a downhill skateboard.

  • this vid really helped, i was thinking it couldnt carve but now i know it can

  • find a real hill!

  • @dil142536 some people longboard for the fun of it not going at speeds you could die from

  • the evo can do it alll! you just gotta set it up right. just loosen up the front truck and depending on the trucks you can carve like a dream

  • idk i want a evo but i think im gona get a killswitch instead im just not sure how well a evo will do on stuff other then like strait downhill races

  • @mexhatdancer heard its good for freeride and can kindaaaaa carve but idk... whatever u think

  • @mexhatdancer watch a couple DH videos, a lot of people use the evo for all types of courses from strait DH to tech and freeride. Its all up to your skill, and set up.

  • nice dude best vid iv seen yet... finally someone fricken carves a bit with the evo.. i wanted to see what it could do instead of just going straight

  • landyachtz evo or original apex 37?

  • @TheKidDwnTheRoad two completely different boards, down hill= evo, carving/sliding/hand tricks= apex

  • @TheKidDwnTheRoad what the fuck? r u retarded? evo is a downhill board, apex 37 is a carving board, what the hell do u wanna do with ur longboard? u dont just ask which one u should get

  • lol evo man... it has less flex it has more concave and camber and the apex has so much flex and is a pretty much flat bored.. its still awesome though

  • @TheKidDwnTheRoad search for airflow-skateboards, they are the best....

  • What trucks?

  • where is this?

  • nice hill

  • why the Evo??? Seems like you are more into carving. better boards for that.

  • are those monster hawgs?
