Anne Francis had the most wonderful pair o 'keets, ever @4:28. Seriously, though. You couldn't take your eyes off her. So stunning. Indeed, it was almost upsetting when she stepped out of frame. And when she stepped back in everything was made right again.
I just discovered her on late night TV with the recent airing of Honey West. I liked her cool character. I decided to look her up and low and behold I found she had her own website. I was going to write to her but decided to wait until my father got out of the hospital, then I heard the sad news that she had passed away. God Bless her! Thanks for the tribute. I only wish I had known about her sooner.
@ReeVERO I was also planning to send her a short letter after Christmas, but then I decided to wait until after the New Year. Then on January 03, 2011, I found out quite by accident that she passed away on January 02, 2011. I happened to see her on the Twilight Zone episode "The After Hours" on YouTube, that I'd also seen in the early 70s on TV and wanted to find out more about her. I just found this video about her a month ago. On well, she is in a better place. R.I.P. Miss Anne Francis.
Anne Francis was a truly wonderful and warm actress. I am very sad to hear of her passing. She has a great informative website, and I will treasure her letters & hand signed photos from her roles in The Twilight Zone and Forbidden Planet. Miss Francis always replied personally, and never failed to inquire after my two pugs Monty & Egypt, after seeing them on my Christmas cards every year. Her TV show Honey West will long be remembered. Heaven has another angel tonight. Robert. (Australia)
What incredible beauty! How sad that Hollywood does not produce this type of beauty anymore. Anne will be missed. Her memory, like her beauty, will never fade.
Ah, I used to have an autographed pic of her as well (sigh). I read all the "Honey West" books then the series came out starring Anne Francis!!! Wow!!! Thanks.
@jackiemurria yes, I totally agree she was prettier than MM, perhaps twice as pretty... although I have no cause to put down MM. Ann is truly in a class all her own, few equal her beauty and talent, possibly very few...
Thanks for posting this tribute. Anne Francis will always have a special place in my heart. I loved her as the store mannequin in The Twilight Zone episode 'The After Hours'. And who can forget Honey West and countless other roles. I regularly send her a Christmas card of my two pugs every year, and always enjoy her letters. And what about a very young Anne in the sci fi classic Forbidden Planet with Robby the Robot, wow.
@aVeryStylishGirl I absolutely LOVED Ann Frances in The After Hours. I saw it once when I was a young teen and the mannequins voices calling to her scared the heck out of me so much then. Priceless!

I used to watch Honey West as a child. I had a crush on John Ericson who played Sam Bolt. I can remember her saying, "Sam!"
