@AFRICA4AFRICANS Babylon was in Iraq, in the Middle East, not Africa. As Semites were they 9/10 of the time darker featured? Most definitely, but then again, since God transcends ethnicity, it's not a major theological issue.

I love this Bible story so much. Not only does it display the reward of faith and God's preserving power, but the idea of big strong lions acting like little kittens just makes me lagh. XD I wanna kitten-lion!

The scene at the beginning seems a bit unrealistic - what lion would actually attempt to attack an elephant?! For that matter, what elephant would actually be afraid of a lion?

@BluTaiger Actually, elephants are very afraid of any smaller animals. They tested it on MythBusters and whatever animal was put in front of it, the elephant would rear up and start trying to go away.

@JakobDailes I remember they tried that with mice. (it's a long standing idea that elephants are afraid of mice) But I don't recall them using any OTHER animals - just the mouse.

I've seen a clip here on YouTube that actually shows elephants chasing lions away. So I stand by my original statement that this scene is UNrealistic.

However, I stand by my previous statements - elephants are much bigger, much heavier and much stronger than any lion living today; the elephants know it and the lions know it. There is absolutely NO reason at all why elephants would be afraid of lions.
