Mabe because the talent pool in NYC is so vast that Eldar is just another cat here. Danny Grissette comes to mind to me as the most original out there now. Thanx
No one can touch Eldar's technique and as far as composition goes, Eldar is hands down the best in the jazz world today. check out some of his other videos and you will see exactly what I am talking about, and he's not lost in any "pool" and never really has been, especially in NYC.
