I think one of the problems some people had with this is that they were expecting a typical zombie movie...it's not, much more character driven and cerebral. This is like the only of this type of movie to ever bring up the fact that all rotting corpses would spread diseases. And it's one of the few zombie/plague movies I actually liked.

The film was not as confusing as I was told. Main guy played his character awfully well. I founded it on kòòkica. If I had to criticize, I walked away not knowing much about the other characters, but that didn't affect the experience.

Watching this movie with friends while mocking it mercilessly is basically the only way to salvage it. It has some unintentionally hilarious moments, though, such as the expressions the "actors" make in their attempts to legitimately act, and the utterly apathetic zombies.

Throughout the two hours i kept hoping that there would be a climax but noooo the first 5 minutes of the movie is basically the last 5 minutes of the movie- nothing progressed. the zombie genre must be the most difficult genre in hollywood. why do most zombie movies suck? & don't get me wrong, i love zombie flicks -both dawn of the deads, pontypool, children shouldn't play with dead things, most of romero's stuff, RofTLD, NofTLD & a few other flicks are the minority is a sea of dull, poorly shot crapfests....

You have to admit there are several mistakes done in the audiobook. Like the scene where Michael, Carl, and Emma are going to raid a market/warehouse. The audio adaption pointed out that Michael was driving when in the book, Carl was the driver.

You've got this one pegged. This is the worst film I have ever seen. Some movies are so bad they're funny; this one wasn't even funny. The zombies don't do anything 3/4 of the movie and when they finally do something it isn't anything more than you see in the trailer.

No explanation for the virus or their survival. It is a shame if that was David Carradine's last movie.
