  • zeb120 Thanks for your comment... You know this is a free country.. You have freedom of speech... and an opinion.. and a choice of what you like and dislike.. That doesn't mean that what you dislike is shit.. I would suggest you watch something you do like and comment accordingly.. Live in peace!

  • You guys are an awesome group of musicians with an even greater name. The Lootbeggars!!!! Brilliant!!!!

    Love Y'all!

  • @davearonow Thanks Dave... The name 'The Lootbeggers' was conceived by me especially for the Busking competition and it seems to have stuck. Our band play for an Appalacian step dance team called Bootleggers so I just changed a couple of letters round and it seemed very appropriate for the busking comp. We now too go out and play accoustic versions of songs by anyone from Jimmy Hendrix to Rolf Harris and everything in between! Great fun!

  • and in between times we play in local pubs. Our local pub set though is totally different. We play and sing a wide variety of songs from Fifties to present but using acoustic instruments. Including Jimmy Hendrix, Beatles, Status Quo, Rolling Stones, The Jam, Oasis, Canned Heat, Carl Perkins, Elvis, Creadence Clearwater revival, Spencer Davis group , Muddy Waters, Rolf Harris, Ritchie Valenz and lots lots more..

    Great work, keep it up.

  • The Lootbeggers won the busking competition at Brigg fiddle fest 2008 in North Lincolnshire UK.. Phil Green on fiddle, Carl Hoeft on guitar, Sarah Green Double bass and Gerry Fillingham on mandola. The Lootbeggers are part of The Bootleggers Appalachian dance team based in Scunthorpe North Lincolnshire UK. This wonderful tune is a Cajun tune sometimes called Cajun fiddle, also known as Cajun Cookin'.
