I had never heard of it, just watched it this week. Excellent movie. Not for action junkies, yet it has two very intense action scenes, one is almost like a John Woo movie.

Brilliant movie if you understand it, like all Richie films, takes a second sitting to see all the good bits, a third to fully understand, and a fifteenth because it's amazingly good!
@almostcrime49 i saw it once and what i found weird was the end, i thought it tells that we don't have any enemies but because of our ego we create them
and i didn't like the casino owner guy, he looked so gay in those tight calvin klein underwear
i totally agree. i've been waiting for someone to upload this part. definitely the best scene in the movie, i love everything about it, the quote about beauty being a destructive angel, beethoven's moonlight sonata - everything about it was perfect.
can someone please tell me how is the song called when jake green falls down the stairs somewhere in te beginning of the movie and at the end of the stairs he sees a note which says you should have taken the elevator? how is that song called?
It's a really good film, made with taste, something you will hardly see in films today. however I have to say that the philosophical points in makes are sometimes moot, sometimes even foolish.

I loved this part. That girl is so damn hot with her legs spread open and a little cloth on her snatch just waiting to be ripped off UUUUGH UUUUUUUUGH ooooh i just blew my load
@narcot666 "to anyone that said the movie sucks shows how little you understand about movies" mark kermode has been reviewing motion pictures for 20 years and gave this one the flop. I wonder if you have the balls to question his knowledge of films.
@narcot666 hahahahaha mate there absolutely nothing to understand here, no deeper meaning, no different approach to film making, nothing. you honestly cannot say that people saying this is bad know nothing about films. Roger Ebert gave it half a star and called it a "mad film that thrashes against its very sprocket holes in an attempt to bash its brains out against the projector. It seems designed to punish the audience for buying tickets." guess he knows nothing about films to ay?
@narcot666 Dude, sorry to upset you but Roger Ebert is the only person ever to win a Pulitzer prize for critiqing a film :P He is THE person who understands movies :L
@Jeffo193 He also is known for his outrages claims a movie. He also critiqued "Ace Ventura" and said how horrible it was and how he hated it so much. But alas he actually went back and gave it one of the best reviews he's ever given of a comedy film. I also believe he actually made a movie and it fucking bombed I suggest people Google two movies. Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens. Yeah he was a writer on both of those movies. WAY TO GO "ROBERT JAWS EBERT"!
an amazing and stunning movie. art meets paranoia and intellect. its not for the THICKOS out there, which is why a lot of people didnt like it, cos tthey COULD NOT understand it.....even so, it is stunning just for the acting, cinematography and pure art and emotion that it conveys, you dont have to understand it fully to appreciate a work of art........only the thickos would complain, go figure
The Girl sucking on the lollipop while talking to lord john(the Asian guy) is him hiring her to kill Mr.Macer(The guy with his head on the floor) The scene where the waitress with the silenced pistol is on the ground dying is after that.
Great scene, although in reality it wouldn't really have occurred like that. Even with a silencer, a gun is pretty loud and the henchmen would've heard it. Still a great movie.
I got so tripped up with this film. Sorter shot the girl because he spotted her gun and wanted to protect the other guy. Her being shot was the blood spatter before the scene. But she survived and tried to kill him under the table. Her accomplice was in the car out back which sorter took out. right?
the director's not underrated at all..he's guy richie for god sake :) but i agree with you 100% tho, this film's absolutely amazing, but it's so seriously underrated.... most people think it's crap for the following reasons:
- they don't understand it
- they understood it wrongly
- they fell asleep
- they predicted the future and knew it was gonna be shit so walked out 10 minutes into it and conclude "the film has more style than substance"
Revolver = Guy Ritchie's most underrated movie. AKA masterpiece.
