  • Comment removed

  • OMG, so amazing!

  • Amazing spiderman! :)

  • somehow the sound an lightin cools down

  • thanks man!

  • who was the second charicter ?

  • @megamatt53 It's man-bat I think.

  • @megamatt53 It seems it is Man Bat

  • So... jealous...

  • The amount of dislikes has nothing to do with how many people can't draw spiderman. Why do you retards thumbs up such stupid comments. That joke is so fucking old and over used.

  • would you like to enter my contest? you are alesome!!

  • next draw deadpool

  • Hawkman and Sgt. Rock in the 60's by Kubert and Romita Sr. was a great replacement for Steve Ditko and his version of Spider-man is what we all think of as CLASSIC!

(Never did like ANY Ditko crap... Creeper, Blue Beetle, and Captain Atom were ruined by men wearing outdated clothing and women with weird hats!)

  • @MarkSkidMcCormick - I love John Romita Sr. Too but I was seeing a lot of ignorant comments about 'the "2nd" artist'...(I really need to spend LESS time on YouTube...people piss me off, lol)

  • Gotta love John Romita Snr. Had the pleasure of meeting his son last year, real nice guy. He signed my Kick-Ass graphic novel with the word "Douchebag", lol!

  • Two masters from the old school! ...Joe kubert (the 2nd artist) makes it look so easy and the man can draw ANYTHING! I just love looking at his art. I can't stand looking at SUPER "perfect" art, or any art that looks like it was 'clearly' a pain in the ass for the artist to create. Idk there's just something offputting about it. Whenever I look at a piece of Joe kubert art it just looks effortless and I can clearly see that he just plain 'loves' to draw...and therein lies it's charm :)

  • Whats he using to ink there?

  • u r a fantastic artist im learning from this and thank you alot for this

  • This video is a very good ASMR trigger. :)

  • Comment removed

  • YOU 18 dislikes can just go and fuck yourself these are good drawings

  • why do you have a piece of paper that you hold

  • @MyMarvelmaniac he puts the piece of paper under his hand to prevent the friction of his hand from smudging the pencil lines when he draws.

  • Woooooooooooooow !!! That was awesome ! Men :)

  • I WANNA DO THAT!!! :)

  • me fascino ..como maneja en mano alzada y su representación ..UN MAESTRO!!

  • haha cipe spidermanowi zrobił::)))

  • man, kuberts was pounding the hell out of the last bit of pigment out of that sakura brush pen

  • excelênte!!!!

  • che que onda viejo dibujas re bien

  • Can you make manbearpig ? that would be sooo awsome.

  • The more times you state a problem in a different way, the more likely it is that your perspective will change and deepen.

  • Quale penna usa il grande John Romita sr???

JRsr il mio maestro di disegno

  • oh... i just had minecraft on...

  • @tasticularnuke Lol :)

  • THIS IS THE MUSIC FROM MINECRAFT!!!

  • Is that John Romita Sr.?

  • i seem to dislike how others disapprove others opinions. The simple actio of saying how can you like this is telling people that the one who disliked the video has a bad opinion which doesn't make sence due to the fact taht an opiniotive thought can not be wrong. Maybe someone could be jelous of this mans art, but still someone could also just dislike the way he draws and maybe that person who does not like the way he draws can draw a little better... i like his art personally in this video.

  • What tools did you use? PLEASE REPLY!!!

  • Wow that was amazing how they could do that without looking at anything and getting the shading just perfect so it all goes perfect together.

  • the creator of spiderman steve ditko ,.,.,. what can i say is there any thing left to say.,.,

  • por favor, me diga que caneta é essa? vc sabe a marca?

    obrigado!

  • WHAT PEN IS THAT??

I need to know guys! :D

  • @schakalakadingdong a simple black felt-tip pen will do the trick, I believe.

  • who is that devil?

  • founder3 is right to say that these drawings are really easy to do to perfection (if thats what you meant) but im not gonna say he cant draw because 1. i havent seen his work and 2. these are cartoon characters so you cant expect a lot of detail!

  • Just the slightest strokes they make give me so much pleasure.

  • some people are jealous he can draw good.

  • @fightchick100 You mean he can draw "well"...jus sayin :P

  • That second sketch, and I use the term sketch loosely, was poor at best. If someone submitted that as an example of their skills, I'd tell them to go take some classes. I'm sure he is capable of much more detailed artwork, but come on.

  • @founder3 I bet you can't draw that good.

  • @gwheeler42 you have fun with that notion my little troll in training. My opinion in no way needs to be validated by you or anyone else on here, nor do my skills require demonstration.

  • @founder3 Whatever you say

  • @founder3 The drawing and outline was good but the shading was poor.

  • @founder3 You're an ignoranus- that is, an asshole who knows nothing.

  • Perfect video! pure information here.

  • 18 people still cant color inside the lines.

  • I can't draw Spiderman and I can watch this or any other video in peace by muting the volume.

  • Im dying to find more videos like this. Real time drawing with no crappy music. Just the artist and his sounds. Has anyone come across some good ones?

  • If this man takes a crap on a piece of paper it would look better than any one of my drawings...

  • what pen is he using? the lines look awesome with that thing!

  • WOW o.O

  • 0:00 closing in, closing in, closing in, shhh.

0:08 "BOOOOOWWWW!!!" and the old man freaks up

  • seems like an old fashioned way ( or idea) of drawing. definetly not cutting edge, but classic and traditional, which some people still prefer, but As an artist, you should try to define your own style.

  • the John Romita S-M is what we see most often in stores and on merchandise, i think its the most widely used depiction of S-M. It looks good but its also quite basic and a little boing. He kinda looks just like every other superhero. Seeing how long it takes John to do this..i wonder if its even practical. Pro sketch artists have to be able to reproduce at intense rates.

  • is it me or did the 2nd guy take alot of deep breaths

  • The different styles are fascinating.

  • thumbs up if you find this relaxing.

  • @yavapaipiano thats called enciling and then he inks it

  • WHY THE HELL WOULD ANYONE DISLIKE THIS??!!!

  • I've thumb it up, but I don't like the way that drawing with a pen in a paper upside the table sounds. Why didn't he draw with the paper upside a book? lol

    Btw, nice work.

  • im really getting into drawing cartoons and i think i want to go into it as a career. I fnd trouble with the shading i always over-shade or under-shade and i really would like some tips to know where and where not to shade

  • @sacredsnip3r Study the world around you.

  • I draw comics for a living, and this *still* seems like magic to me. Especially John Romita Sr at the beginning - just incredible.

  • OMG what marker or whichever is he using to get those nice black lines?

  • @Crastics07 i'd like to know that, too...!

  • I fall asleep to this video once in a while...

  • @xogentzxo how they are so professional

  • @geo12lan i mean because the sounds are so relaxing...

  • More videos like this please, just someone drawing with pencil sounds, no music or stupid time lapse

  • @Shan2809 Man, I could not agree more. If I hear Robert Miles' "Children" playing over one more frigging time-lapsed drawing video, I will straight up kill someone. Stop trying to impress us with your directorial technique - impress us with your *drawing*.

  • DRAWING SNOOKI

    /watch?v=TmzktcVYzFA

    /watch?v=TmzktcVYzFA

  • i love to draw with music but some artise does not thats how they feel conformable

  • Thumb up if you watch this video because of 漫画王 :D

  • I thought I was a good artist until 10 minutes ago.

  • Uauuuu!

  • 16 people can't draw Spider-Man.

  • @MediaScopeReview when i was little, i used to get my dad to draw the outline of the head, then id fill in the web lines and eye etc. haha

  • @MediaScopeReview

now they are 18 people who can't draw

  • @sagitta242 Yeah that is what I have been doing. Drawing 5 to 6 days a week. i was just curious . thx for the reply

  • love to know what type of paper that is ?

Ideally also the pencil and pen type....? anyone

  • 16 of Rob Liefeld's family members don't like this video.

  • can you tell me the paper type and the ink used. ? At least the paper please - it has a distinct sound. I am new to this. Thx

  • What brush is Romita using?

  • @tehWudge haha, everyone wants to know but it seems no one has an answer :D

  • I think it's so funny that at the end of the day, they really are just scribbling. watching them do this so effortlessly is amazing. I know some of these people in person, and watching them just sit and draw is astounding. Especially Joe Kubert! seeing him go straight to town with the inks is crazier when you see him do it at your desk than it is in the video!

  • what are those brush tip pens joe kubert and john romita using?

  • I am only 11 years old and comic books have always inspired me to draw fascinating characters (including the Hulk) and teach me new techniques that modern (and old) artists use a'lot. But I have a few qeustions though:

    1. Can Sakura of America pens be purchased at local art stores or only the website

    2. What would be the best "tool" to use for drawing?

  • As a fellow comic artist, I have to say I love watching really good artists display their skills as you did here!

    Love it!

  • @wagemeister Question--- is this John Buscema himself???

  • /watch?v=38UVKQys6Bk

  • i can listen to this scribbling everyday, to bad most of the eimes i have school. :(

  • Anyone else do the guessing game? Where you try to guess the artist (without looking at the video description) before he signs his name? John Buscema, Bill Sienkiewicz and Travis Charest were pretty easy to spot for me because of their distinct styles.

  • the best drawing i've seen in a llllllllllllloooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnggggg time

  • its just amazing these guys can draw on paper. its like nowadays, people draw on the computer instead. :(

  • @Diego1999ist

well i draw a lot to and nearly 50 percent on pc witch is nether easy er ore harder

if your alredy spend the most of the time in front of a pc you can quickly open PS and draw somthing if you have some paper and pencilc in front of you will take them insted the results are nearly the same but there are still some efferents

if it comes to inking and the planing of the colors pc is easier

but if you want to get some "live" into the drawing ist easiesr on paper <3

  • que padres el es un genio en esto le deseo gran suerte espero se asi

  • downright awesome. its so effortless for them.. hope i'm this good one day =]

  • I have a question..

What pencil do you use to draw that and what marker did u use to outline it?

    please reply :)

  • @Urbanmaniac111 , There are many different types of pencils, and pens that artists, comic/or other, use. Generally, I have seen comic artists use india ink brushes and pens. I have always used Pitt pens, and brushes. Micron and prismacolor also make good, fine point pens, sometimes used in inking. Sharpies can be used, but they are bad for archival purposes. Pencils are generally artists discretion. Some use a soft pencil, or 2b, others use harder pencils that appear lighter on the page.

  • @DarrylRevok138 Thank you so much.

Been waiting for a reply for along time , thank you for taking youre time and answering

You helped me alot so thank you
