Incidentally, I hear he once turned a prob into a probe for NASA. His Facebook says his pet is named Pete, and he has an exhibit in the Museum of Modern Art with a slope made of slop.
Well, it's your decision, but I always thought this song was just adorable. I loved the character ever since I first saw the video. I would totally love to see it if you finish it, in, like, a YouTube video, or something!
I've always found it interesting how the version they used on the show was just Lehrer on piano with a very basic rhythm section, but the version released on record had classic-Raposo-style instrumentation overdubbed.
