Dont go SHORT, but you should take off three or four inches off the bottom layer! That would bring the bottom layer closer to the layers he cut in, That will increase your volume, give you more options for hair styles, and it would be suucchh a nice change!!!

I had hair almost as long as yours and I cut it off to my shoulders earlier this month. I absolutely LOVE it! I feel like I can do so much more with it, and it's so much quicker and easier to dry! I take biotin, so it's grown significantly since I got it cut, and I think I will let it grow again until it's long enough to donate.

Whatever you do just DONT get front bangs. Your face is too long for you to have front bangs ( im not trying to be mean btw ). You should cut it a little but lower ( i inch) than your layer. It will add some sizzle and cute factor,about the colors,just go with your mom cause your hair dye is really gorgeous and coloring your hair can damage and can make it dry, trustme I've done this and I got a bit unhappy w/ the results but if you want new look maybe do the coloring by the end of the year

I wouldn't color it! Your hair is such a pretty and natural brown! Since you were a little hesitant to chop it all off, I would chop it off inch by inch. So like, every few weeks you would get an inch or two off your hair, gradually making it shorter. This is important because then you can decide whether you like your hair shorter or not, and you can stop without having to grow it out so much if you hate it shorter. And your layers look fantastic!

I recommend taking 5 inches off. That makes it shorter and gives it a different feel without making a huge commitment to short hair and ending up hating it. I think getting a few highlights through out your hair that are a few shades lighter than your natural color would look really pretty and again, give it a different feel. when I get my hair done I usually do something along these lines and I'm never disappointed :-)

WElllllll, honestly the layers he gave you look a little amateur to me (no offense).... Maybe you just need to add some dimension to them with a bit of caramel highlights or something.
