  • hi there nice to meet you HAVE YOU GOT AANY DRUGS GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE shiiiiitttt im fuuuuuccckkeeddd.....lmao crazy fucker

  • This could be a really helpful drug in therapy- perhaps helping criminals see their wrongdoings.. etc.

  • @Minidrags They used LSD in the 60s as a therapy tool, but of course our government swooped in and shut it down. Also ecstasy is also useful in therapy. Hallucinogens are really misunderstood. They take you into a whole different realm of consciousness and thought where one can use this to their advantage and delve deep into themselves. The introversion is very nice and most of the time something positive is taken out of the trip even if you have a bad trip.

  • "by now my gag reflex is making it increasingly hard to swallow" my ex used to say something similar

  • weird... never heard of a drug that makes a person have moral epiphanies...

  • @The1andOnlyCG lsd?

  • @cal1234567 never tried it myself, to be honest

  • @The1andOnlyCG I tried it once was mental went on for like 18 hours. Maybe didn't induce an epiphany though salvia on the other hand i did a couple of times in university a while back, had one trip where i fell through space and time to a stage where i was very young that was quite epiphany-esque felt very profound afterwards... then i went to sleep. Remember kids don't do drugs.

  • @cal1234567 Salvia is awesome

  • @LesageMathieu if you mix it with weed and hit it in a pipe you can have a trip that goes on for a bit longer than usual.

  • @cal1234567 It isn't uncommon for people to revert back to thr way they were ask a kid or have the mind-state as they had as a kid while tripping on numerous hallucinogens. I'm pretty sure NeuroSoup has a video about her using DMT and experiencing something similar.

  • @The1andOnlyCG thats because you probably believe what the government tells you, remember FRANK is full of shit.

  • Should have taken DMT, three tokes and your there, no puking, just love... haha silly fucker

  • ibogaine

  • the dude had a good expirience

  • dudes just puking all over in his hut lol

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA his eyes at 3:44 know thats what i call a come down JHEEZE

  • @skb0rzn Everyone responds differently to drugs you jackoff.

  • @halflife103 Its not the drugs, its what they allow you to comprehend.

  • it looks like those tribal people are saying "this bitch..."

  • i want some!!!!!!!!!!

  • i remember popping a ton of baby woodrose seeds, i went nuts for three days.

  • Me neither, how exactly is this disrespectful, he is merely trying the drug that the 'tribe' he is apparently disrespecting has given him. Its called a documentary, its where real life and experiences are captured on film. And as far as documentary makers go bruce parry is pretty damn respectful and open to everyone he meets.

  • @Beamster420 LSD has to be made...you can't just go pick it from a tree...other compounds have to be added to make it

  • sounds like everi one needs to do this....

  • What a pansy.

  • hmmm can't find exactly where in this clip the bbc disrespected these thousand year old traditions u claim so heartily. Stop being so damn sensitive.

  • Bless.

  • puking in their house lol

  • sounds like he smoked too much weed.

  • daaaaammmnnn

  • I wish they'd written in the info what tribe this is.

  • he just shouldve done lsd lol

  • @FrobblOo there is more to doing drugs than just having fun.

  • @dasgemuse i didnt say anything different

  • @FrobblOo there is a difference between lsd and a guided journey with a shaman. the effects of acid are not nearly as profound or enlightening as these drugs.

  • @dasgemuse also, lsd is a man made drug....far more dangerous and unpredictable

  • @dasgemuse *cough* *cough* Allergic to bullshit

  • freaky stuff!

  • Poor Brucie always ends up chucking his guts up, bless him. What a LAD.

  • This guy is one of my heroes. much respect.

  • I feel like I've had very similar thoughts while tripping as this dude. People often assume that psychedelics turn the user into a mad man but they can often open doors in one's mind, helping you see from another point of view. I feel that those who reject psychs are only doing so because they are afraid of what they might find behind those closed doors.

  • I think that what the government is trying to do to us is enough to make anybody hallucinate; we have to stay as sober and lucid as possible, and, granted that we need some relaxation in order to assimilate reality by scaping from the daily grind, it is good to drink some red wine (even Jesus did that) or beer or tequila with friends and/or go dancing

  • iboga root is rad i helps people kick heroin addictions so it is pretty good

  • "mild-altering drugs" lol, good description

  • The debil is comming out of him! LOL

  • this guy is an idiot, wasting his brain & health for the sake of a youtube and us, the bunch of fools who comment this; "big secret"? big bullshit; the people who use hallucinogenics end up checking into old video stores thinking they are back in the 60s

  • @1Urganda1 completely incorrect. I have taken many types of ethnogenic hallucinogenic plants and unless you have done the same your comments have no validity. Its not a secret its THE SECRET. However they are not for the weak ,lame ,or lazy. What are you afraid of?

  • @1Urganda1 its not wasting his brain. this drug is not harmful or life threatening, its a natural substance that has no long lasting effects. the only people that say stuff like you are people that are scared of trying things just beause the government has forced them into your mind as 'illegal and bad'.

  • @smithysproductionz Taken in excess, anything is harmful to the body....but I would rather take something that has come naturally from the ground, rather than something manufactured...

  • @vampineze Well that is the lamest definition I've ever seen. By that standard, *everything* is a drug, including all food, water, oxygen etc...

  • @jammin023

You are playing semantics here. By the definition he gave, all of those substances are included. However, the way we use 'drugs' in the real world has a completely different context.

  • @DR000 You can't have it both ways. If you want to play the "context" card, that's precisely why I objected to a sacred iboga ceremony being described as "tripping on drugs", because those words have a certain contextual resonance to most people that is completely inappropriate for describing what is happening here. This might be culturally-specific; for example here in the UK the word "drugs", outwith any strict medical context, almost always means recreational chemicals, not medicines.

  • @jammin023

You can despise me for playing the semantics 'card', but it is clearly the case here. People need to be mindful of cultural differences, as opposed to getting into silly arguments.

  • @DR000 The people who use hallucinogens regularly ( at least the people I know, myself included ) tend to do it for the cathartic/theraputic qualities of the experience, as opposed to "getting fucked up"

There are plenty of drugs out there that can make you feel really good, forget your problems, boost your ego etc.. without forcing you to reflect on the nature of reality, existence, love and suffering..But those drugs are rarely of any interest to the psychedelic community, and vise versa.

  • @MrAudiovideodisco very well put my friend

  • i need this...

  • Bruce is so cool :)

  • everyone should try psychedelics at least once

  • who else wants some :P

  • i was on ibogaine twice.the visions are intense and applies to each individual and can last for 24hours or more.will be taking another maintaince dose soon.ex heroin addictt

  • What a world! I thank BBC worldwide and Bruce Parry for these expositions. I've watched all the videos in the playlist. Well, i'm SPEECHLESS

  • Madressita Ayahuasca

  • Madressita Ayahuasca

  • this blew my goddamn mind

  • iv done alot of things but never tripped because i cant find the perfect situation to try then...id like to go here and do it with the pros =)

  • This dude could have went straight to the hood and did the same exact thing ... Like it or not .... Disrespect or not ... sacred or not...puking all over a dirt floor and out of body experiences doesnt sound like sacred fun to me.Screw that.

  • dude has the best job in the world. travel across the world, meet interesting pppl , do drugs and get paid while doing it , hell yeah.

  • 1:24 tribe saying puke more puke more.. we eat later booga booga

  • "it is a big secret" they are as selfish and egocentric as we are. Share the secret so the world becomes a better place.

  • @slutypet Go drink some and find out for yourself.

  • @Bouchon211 yeah..."go to africa and find a translator to talk to the natives" it is really easy -.- ... it was easier if i could just buy it in a store with all ingredients

  • where was this filmed?

  • I hate watching this stuff.. i get super jealous

  • This dude is freaking out..

  • wow amazing

  • geeze i wonder what he took... that some intense shit... i dont get why they would do some shit like that... stick to weed man. fuck the rituals

  • Chuckin' a whitey

  • this guy is a fucking loser.

  • @jimmyshitbags HAHA hes one of them guys that puts everyone else on a bad trip.. you wouldn't want to get high with him.

  • @SkitzoMultiple loool we all know that person who puts everyone else on a bad trip x]

  • @jimmyshitbags - How is Bruce Parry a loser? He runs his own TV company making millions and gets to travel to the most interesting places on the planet. He seems to have an incredible life.

  • I was on some herbal highs site recently, and it advertised this iboga root.. obviously you won't get as much, but still worth a shot lol..

  • He puked inside their house, how rude.

  • @hardassteel The entheogen may be rough on the body of the freshman :-)

  • man hes boring to get high with

  • thanks to biwiti i have my life back 15 years clean thank you....respect what tools were given to us from mother earth...

  • HAHAHAHAHA what a pussy

  • this is hilarious LMFAO that guy is tripping so hard that he is throwing up... EPIC

  • how fucking dare the BBC treat the traditions of these people with such disrespect. Iboga root is not only sacred to these people, it has also helped thousands of heroin addicts to become clean.

  • @Bjarku who gives a shit if its sacred to these people... the bible is sacred to many people and i dont give a shit about that either

  • @llHyRaXll thanks for that "IIHyRaXII". nice alt caps in your name there, looks very snazzy and cool ;)

  • @Bjarku your welcome

  • @Bjarku please tell me where on earth they disrespect the traditions

  • @themilkmister referring to a tradition which is thousands of years old as "tripping on mind altering drugs". it's disrespectful, sensationalistic, and makes light of a sacred tradition

  • @Bjarku i still dont see why its offensive

  • @Bjarku but if the cap fits!

  • @Bjarku Youre a fucking idiot.

  • @Bjarku Actually Iboga is bullshit. I tried it to get off smack, shit doesn't work. I went to Africa to do it with a couple other of my fellow dopers. Iboga is useless for the cessation of drug abuse. You are a fucking cunt, talking shit on the BBC about something you know absolutely nothing about.

  • @metzger90 did u have the experiences discribed while on the drug? Like the flashbacks of childhood and all your fears and joys of your life?

  • @Bjarku i don't understand how they're treating it with disrespect...

  • @Wharrrrrgarbl its because they forgot the Glow Sticks

  • @Bjarku WTF...seemed to me they were very respectful to their traditions. Even the crew stepping outside when asked. Thought it was a great respectful coverage of it.

  • @Bjarku How were they disrespecting it?

  • my mate met bruce parry at a free rave down in cornwall

  • y all the food of those people all ways make bruce vomitate????????????

  • @minipipe969 the drugs he's taking make everyone throw up. Part of the ritual.

  • He threw up in that guys hut....what an asshole. lol

  • whiteyyyyyyy

  • I'de probably puke to lol, still looks rather interresting other than the puking.

  • Just imagine trippin out your tree while in a remote village with not only a language barrier but a civilisation barrier too, it would freak me out man. Bruce Parry- What A Legend!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @peteryyz43

He is exploring some of this planets last hidden people , i think many people care to see.

  • That's nothing compared to when he ate rat pie.

  • the reflection towards the end was fucking deep man...

  • I have watched every programme he has done. The amazon was a brilliant watch but i am also enjoying the one that is on at the moment. He is in the Artic, i found his time in Greenland very interesting, the way the greenlanders are trying to keep their hunting traditon whilst the modern world is moving in. Now oil has been found it will not be long before it is destroyed.

  • @TheKitty1603 The whale hunting and the one in Nome was a good episode, hes across Canada now isnt he? , he really is a legend, the oil is damaging everywhere though and that the main man in charge was part of a indian tribe himself i think

  • His explanation of what he experienced is simply beautiful.

  • Doesn't look like fun at all

  • bruce parry is such a lad

  • what a lucky S.O.B.

  • was this in Gabon?

  • they have that "what happens in vegas stays in vegas" attitude.

  • This is why LSD was created, it's all amazing trip and no/very rare vomiting and paranoia

  • The gentleness of these people is quite remarkable.

  • omg I want to try this.

  • baby is cryingggggg.. toto

  • I wanna try

  • Does anyone know if he has a son called Matthew?

  • Now i see why they make designer drugs!

  • Buhwahhh, not nice. Why he does that? Its danger

  • he just perfectly explained what the effects of drugs do

  • This Is Ibogaine i did this drug to get off of oxycontin and H and omg it was INTENSE the trip wasnt a hig what so ever but it changed my life and since that day i havent used once and its been over 2 years during my trip i would assume the people i had hurt during my use and could feel all the pain i dish out in a condense version it was amazing after but during it was HORRABLE but ti changed my life and i havent used since its a powerfull drug and should be legal and not ever abused its a gift

  • @MiBlazed yea dude u tripped the fuck out i seen shadows

  • Next time I can't watch a video because of a laggy ad will be the last time I ever use youtube.

  • I think every person should be allowed to do these drugs with the help of a shaman under supervision at specific ritual places. I would go. It'd be better than finding days when my parents are gone all day.

  • This guy is boss!

  • im confused, what did he take? sounds to me like mescaline.. maybe a form of PCP?

  • @ImRoflolpwned no it was neither, it was the iboga root from the babonga tree.. im not sure what chemical is in it, but it's not one of those two, it looks alot less enjoyable than mescaline lol

  • @Robbo1YNWA It isnt at all a nice drug but tis crazy the way he discribes his trip was JUST like what i had well on the drug to get over my addiction to Oxy i still talk to my docter that recomended this to me and help me find a person to guide me the most amazing and worst time of my life but it changed how i live now and no other drug has ever done that to me like Ibogine.

  • @ImRoflolpwned iboga, chemical is ibogaine i beleive

  • that sounds like a really mind-altering trip. if only we could all experience it

  • I find this pretty amusing that BBC British tax dollars go to work sending this man around the world to get high. The BBC should know the most powerful refined drugs can be found in East Brooklyn where I recommend he embark on a vision quest with the urban tribes of mixed descent. The US boasts the largest estimated illegal drug market of any part of the world.

  • The "bad trip" was an experience of self discovery, that one trip was probly worth several years of psycho therapy in terms of self awarness and growth.. Imagine how much better the world would be if everyone had the experience of feeling how their actions effect other people..

  • i wish i could see what he is seeing..

  • The title of this clip is completely inappropriate. Iboga, ayahuasca etc are not "drugs", and the term "tripping" has connotations of recreational use that simply do not apply to the ritual and sacred use of these plants which Bruce took part in. I feel it is disrespectful both to his experiences and to the shamanic traditions which have used these plants constructively for millennia.

  • @jammin023 unfortunatly do you think as many people would of watched it if it were named other wise?

  • @jammin023 you maybe are ones of the person that just hear drugs and think about ellegal drugs -.- honey drugs are also know as medicine

  • @elibeth06 Irrelevant. The term "drugs" is commonly understood to mean synthetic compounds, which these are not, and when coupled with the word "tripping", no-one is going to be thinking of medicinal drugs.

  • @jammin023 Terence Mckenna would approve of your answer.

  • @jammin023 well your obviosly an over senstive pussy, maybe you should just shut the fuck up. Ayahuasca is a drug you dipshit

  • @llHyRaXll Nothing that comes from nature isnt drug

  • @jammin023 Oh yeah coz i'm sure the shamanic people will be watching this right now with their superfast broadband feeling disrespected!

  • Comment removed

  • @jammin023 yeah but when you say it like that it doesnt sound interesting to watch. chill the FUCK out

  • @jammin023 a drug is a drug. it was mind altering and just because it's not a pill doesn't mean it's not a drug

  • @jammin023 yes.

  • @jammin023 is there a difference its all just tripping. ritual and sacred are just other words for make believe.

  • @jammin023 shut up you big fucken baby, do you really think that tribe is going go on youtube out there and find that disrespectful?

  • @jammin023 They are drugs. The definition of drug is "A substance that has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body". Tripping could have that connotation you mentioned, however I think the video itself does a fair job explaining the phenomenon.

  • @S0XF0X My stomach tablets beg to differ, sir.

  • @tyropyrant Does not compute.

  • @S0XF0X L2compute.

  • Comment removed

  • that is a fuckin terrible environment to have a bad trip!

  • Why would you do that if it feels like you're burning from inside?

  • "war raging inside my body..." Neuroticism can easily prevent one from fully enjoying one's experience :-)))

  • whats up with this dude and his deemstas

  • HAHAHA, It is time for Bruce to see the booty.... it would be funny if a bunch of women started shaking their asses infront of bruce.

  • id give him one. sexual.

  • powerful stuff!

  • Its DMT hes taking, just saw a quote on a new website.
