@shairaptor The carpet has enough stains! Also, ducks will look for worms and bugs in the carpet just as if it were grass and ingest carpet fibers which are toxic.

Andy is female. And Amos is a male. I can tell by the quacks. :) Just thought I'd let you know. I've also had ducks as pets.

There's also one other way to tell if it's a male or female duck - if the back tale feathers curl upward, it's a male duck..

You are good people!  My chickies came in the house every night to sleep too. They would wait by the door as soon as it began to get dark...I just wish I had thought to put it on video! Love your duckies!

Ha, jut like how we used to put the dogs in their crates for the night.

It was a place they felt safe and secure for the night, like tucking them in bed and saying good night.
