Anyone else notice that his Joker voice seemed to sort of change now and again? Not much, just enough to notice, especially the laugh. It sounded one way in BTAS, another in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, and then it seemed to morph again in Arkham Asylum/City. It's probably due to age or him just trying to keep the voice fresh, but I think it's cool that he seems to have a diffferent version Joker voice for each series.

Mark Hamill has officially stepped down as joker. He stated that after batman Arkham city he would retire his joker voice acting:( so now they need to find a replacement. In my opinion I think Dan Fogler from The movie Fanboys would make a great joker voice. Thanks Mark!!!!

As for who else could be Joker's voice, Fogler could work, and also Jon DiMaggio (aka Bender from 'Futurama') did a pretty good job playing the Joker in the 'Batman: Red Hood' movie, from what I saw of it.

Mark Hamill isn't going to do the Joker anymore. He's tired of the character. He's been doing it for over 20 years, that on top of countless other similar baddie voices on a laundry list of other cartoons and video games.He's made it his signature trademark. He got type-casted after the success of this. You can see why.

So it's all evolution, and even though Ledger's performance was legendary I don't think his Joker would've worked well outside the movies, it's just too heavy.

For TAS Mark Hamill was perfect imo.
