  • I believe.... about a month or so like 6 weeks after that Cage Match, Snuka's girlfriend died/killed. crazy huh.

  • Wow. He Aged. He looks nothing like he did back in the 70s and 80s. Now he looks like an older, fatter Jim Norton.

  • Muraco was one of the best! Adonis, Muraco, the Hitman, Roddy Piper, Adrian Adonis, Bob Orton.....I loved all those badasses of wrestling from back in the day during the 80s. They were the shit.

  • Without question, "The Magnificent One" was a major-player.

    Totally believable, well-skilled all-around.

    Seriously under-rated.

  • the best ever was Don eating a meatball sandwich while wrestling a mark... throws away the foil and Albano slips on it and falls down the ring stairs... late night, 1980's Ch. 9 NYC... those were the freaking daze...

  • boy he didnt want to get too specific on the snuka thing.

  • besides hulk hogan, don muraco has to be probably the second best Inspirational wrestler, maybe Dusty Rhodes

  • The Magnificent One is my favorite. Love him.

  • A true legend of wrestling Don Muraco

  • he used to come to my gym time to time..did heav squats

  • 82 -83 was an awesome year in the WWF. That was one of my favorite wrestling years.

  • Snuka feud was epic

  • Simply put, for being 60 and for all the punishment he's taken in his business, he doesn't look too bad. I've seen 40 year olds look worse.

  • As fas as the aging goes, it seems that anytime an ex wrestler can get past 45 they're doin' OK. Considering the amount of doping that went on back in those days and the abuse they put their bodies through for OUR entertainment. So many early deaths it's great to have one of the Legends at least still alive and coherent. I was a huge Fan and still think the man is Magnificent!

  • This is my all time favorite: The Magnificent Muraco.

You always had the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys', and plenty of them changed back and forth from being 'good' or 'bad', Not this guy!, he just did what he felt like, he always cracked me up, I loved watching this guy!

The man was brutal in the ring too, I love the way he wrestled.

Absolutely NO respect for any opponent, terrific! Kinda like the attitude of Jake the Snake Roberts. Another one of my all time favorites.

  • Muraco`s cage match with Snuka was the first wrestling match I was aware of. Snuka was the first wrestler I saw or was familiar with as a kid and remains one of my favourites.

  • do anyone out there have magnificent muraco vs michael saxon”,? If you do please upload thank you

  • the magnificent one!

  • Don Muraco was my favorite wrestler for a few years. Man, did I want him to get the belt from Backlund. He'd have been a great World Champ!

  • I thought it was Abdullah the butcher at first

  • I always thought Muraco looked like the real life Incredible Hulk. The man was just massive back then. He played a very good heel.

  • I still think his matches against Pedro Morales for the I.C. belt were classics and some of his best!

LOVE that he gave props to the Grand Wizard, even calling him by his first name - Ernie.

  • Boring stuff.

  • Holy crap. This guy looks more like Don Corleone than Don Muraco.

  • Still one of my faovorite wrestlers. Before there was the rock , There was Don The Rock Muraco . Than later the Magnificent Muraco

  • @rayvictory Wrong, he was Magnificent for years going back to the 70s. He was called the rock after he juiced up for a short period around 1987. He did get a lot bigger and more pumped up. I didn't realize how good Don was as a kid.

  • @jtc1148

You know what you're right about that

  • @jtc1148 exaclty! He was always big but had a few pounds of fat on him. Then he got ripped muscular even had ABS got rid the budha belly. He looked awesome! One the most underated stars all of the time.

  • rock on brother your the man

  • The Magnificent One!!!! This man is a legend of the sport. One of the greatest to ever enter the squared circle. remeber him beating on a scrub stopping in the middle of the match to take a bite of his meatball sandwhich before continuing the match. Now thats entertainment

  • you can say what you want about The Don but he's a legend....and the guy still has a full head of hair yet....and for those who say he's aged i bet you'll look worse when you're his age

  • Great wrestler! Great man! Thanks Don!

  • I still think of Heenan describing Muraco in his shoot "good man....good weed!" haha

  • The original rock. Don "The rock" muraco. How many of you knew or remembered that?

  • @octasian I remember Don "The Rock" Muraco.Superstar Billy Graham was his manager. i remember when he was the Magnificent Muraco.

  • He's still Magnificent.

  • I miss the days when fans would chant every Saturday morning " BEACH BUM! BEACH BUM! BEACH BUM!" to Don as he would walk down the aisle.I used to laugh my ass off.

  • I saw the tail end of his fued with Steamboat on Maple Leaf Wrestling. What a match these guys had.

  • @BrickhouseB2 absolutely. he looks great. bunch of idiots.

  • @BrickhouseB2 He doesn't look that bad for 60. I went to a "wrasslin" convention last summer, and some of the guys looked real bad. Jimmy Valiant, Ivan Koloff, Ole Anderson, Jay Strongbow are all starting to look old. Hell Strongbow must be in his 80s now. It's like watching you childhood super heroes lose their immortality or something. Was kind of fun and depressing at the same time.

  • @BrickhouseB2 Yeah no kidding, and I think he looks fine, just heavier. Who cares? It happens!

  • @BrickhouseB2 ~Only Black people age like that. 80 years old; looking like a 50 year old.

  • @BrickhouseB2 amen!

  • @BrickhouseB2 Well said. I hate it when kids and young adults put down older people simply because of their age. Like we can help what year we were born in. They don't realize yet just how fast it goes by. One day very soon they will wake up, look in the mirror, and see an old person staring back at them. They usually counter by saying, "yeah but right now I'm young". Yeah? So? So were we. And we got to be young in a better era than you so there!!

  • @Turdbuckethat Very true!

  • @Turdbuckethat Ya, its the asshole advertisers who have worked hard over the years to put into groups based on age so they can market to us easier. There was a time when elderly got respect.

  • @Turdbuckethat

The more society pushes the virtue of youth, the more contempt they'll have for age.

Like even the 44-year old Heart-break "Kid" was pushed as a Gen-X hero... and he still is-- despite that he RETIRED due to age!

Of course his sucking Vince's cock for 20 years didn't hurt his getting a push.

And consider how they elected a president who didn't have enough experience to know his ass from a hole in the ground, and couldn't talk without a teleprompter... they never learn.

  • @BrickhouseB2

He's the REAL Rock... not that sorry-ass douche that got humped by monkeys in the movies.

  • @BrickhouseB2 60 isn't that old mate

  • @BrickhouseB2 "Now shut the fuck up."

Jesus Christ, don't you realize you come across as a total douchbag loser when you try and reach across the internet to tell someone to STFU. Dickless people like you wouldn't do that in real life, so why do it here? We are a society where we don't tell people to STFU, we're free people, not a caste.

  • @mikeockurts SHUT THE FUCK UP!! ahahahaha

  • DAYUM!! Man got Carbed The Fuck Out!

  • Wow, did you age poorly!

  • @yimpka Umm...he's like 60 years old. Idiot.

  • IT IS SO SAD HE LOOK THIS WAY.

  • Muraco is so laid back he doesn't even need pants.

  • Muraco looks fat alright, that's what happens when you juice for so many years though. At least he hasn't died of heart attack like the rest of the 80s wrestlers. He seems like he's still got all his marble upstairs which is good.

  • One of the greatest intercontinental champions of all time !!!

  • I challenged this fat hawaiian to a $5000 street fight and the SOB never showed.

  • ...Snuka lost a $500,000 law suit against Nancy Argentino's Parents , like 80% of Wrestlers are Absolute Shit Bags!...

  • @mrjamesb56 Muraco at one Point did some Heavy Juice ,look at the difference of him between 1980 and 1985 ....

  • @mrjamesb56 you know i agree with you. like snuka even killed a girl and they were all low lifes.

  • Muraco looks like he could step back into the ring today, no problem.

  • I love Muraco. His cage match with Snuka is a classic.

  • My Favorite wrestler !!!!!!!

  • wow this is too weird, when he was young Muraco looked like my uncle, now he looks like my dad after he had a stroke

  • roids fucks u up

  • Seems like you can't get a hold of much on Don "the Rock" Muroco any where. He was actually one of my first favourite wrestlers when managed by Billy Graham. He was a monster at one point.

  • There was not much of Muraco as The Rock to get a hold of because that gimmick was pretty brief (Muraco as a face never got over). Muraco was past washed up then and was roided to an insane level that was uncomfortable. Late 1970's / early 1980's Muraco was when he was at his best. Muraco and Fuji ruled hard, but I never liked Billy Graham as a performer or as a human being and this was before Graham started trying to extort money from McMahon.

  • He was what got me into wrestling in teh early '80's. No one did a funnier, sickier interview for the time.

  • muraco was is a legend he could play an awsome heel and he could play the hero 2 loved watching him wrestle

  • ROCK is definately a legend..but OMG he is aging like a piece of dork shit in the hot summer sun.. he looks awful and unhealthy...sad.

  • Actually, most wrestlers age like shit. The ones who age well like Ricky Steamboat are the exception. These guys do some serious hard living. Drinking, drugs, steroids, years of eating on the road in greasy spoon diners. It will catch up to you.

  • Steamboat really impressed me against Jericho... he hasnt wrestled in so long, and a little overweight, but he did a great job! That was awesome!!! What do you think about Monday? Do you think TNA is going to be eventual competition with the WWA... i love Hogan but i say NO WAY

  • @Seegs86 you're a scumbag.

    And he looks great.

  • what brought about that intelligent comment? lol

  • @Seegs86 Actually, he doesn't look bad. But you have to remember, Muraco has been around since the 60s and people will age in 40+ years, you know. You should see how Randy Savage have aged. You won't reconize him when you see him.

  • @Koolazzmike No, he looks horrific extremely fat and out of shape and yea check out the new Randy Savage weddng photos, you can find the album on tmz..com ... OMG... unrecognizable....

  • @Seegs86 Holy crap, I checked out Macho. Wow, he is unrecognizable if you saw him walking down the street. He looks like he aged 30 years since the time he was in TNA a few years back!

  • The Real ROCK!

  • I spoke to him briefly in1997 He was working as a Longshoreman, I also saw some posters of wrestling matches I think he was Booking

  • KC - best shoot interviews ever.

  • is he still in hawaii or what?
