Thanks. This helped. I tried it on the SEGA mega drive/genisis ultimate colleletion disc,(PS3) and discovered that I had to change it to a certain button layout so I could do it. The layout was the ABC controls, which were:

A: Square

B: Cross/X

C: Circle.

Yeah, it does work. I remember having this game as a kid and these codes worked. They might have changed on later ports, but they do work on the Genesis and Genesis emulators.

when i did this. i uses super sonic for all battles. everytime i hit the button to free the animals i turn back into supersonic and he stays normal but the music plays and sonic walks on air

Nevermind I got it working, hopefully it'll work on the upcoming Sonic Classic Collection on the DS. People, I found that the easiest way to it is to enter the code, go to the title screen, and press start and all the face buttons at the same time.

hmm.... I dont know :S I'd imagine it does, but come to think of it, due to the fact it only has 2 buttons instead of 3, that could cause problems :S I'd like to try it but I dont have it on wii xD So, sorry.... I guess we're just going to have to asume it doesnt work :S

Ok, you have to hold A THEN press start =P Nothing will happen in the start menu, as you have to do that FROM the start menu after entering the code in the options menu =P

Enter code in options, go back to start menu, hold A and press start, you should be on level select =P

That depends. If you're using an emulator, you can change them yourself in Input>controls

However, if it's a disk of the game, then usually it's the A key. Then S=B, and D=C! Simple eh? =P

If it's a disk and it isn't that, though, then I suggest just pressing every key on the keyboard until you find one, then try ones to the right and to the left of it and they will usually be A B and C =P ^^'
