hmm nice tune. I will not lie i got here by searching the morning breaks, the hymn by one of the Pratts. It is a mormon thing. so you can imagine that this was kind of awkward for me.
@dethgunz - wow you nailed that comment. i am a grrl from the big city but yet i can relate to my touch leaving grayness on everything. you prolly know about Ministry if you dont i believe itz worth ure time.
Violin is Inferior to Sarangi. If you want to truly be mesmerized by haunting sounds of one of the oldest musical instruments in the world, I urge to you to listen to /watch?v=PqJv6Uvy-5c
I don't listen to lycia when I'm in the woods and mountains. I listen to it in my own room, alone... I am alone... I am alone, but I learned to cope with loneliness and turned it into a love for solitude, thanks to music like this and cold weather in this urban city.
Peter Steele of Type o negative once said in an interview that "It (Lycia - A Day In The Stark Corner) is the most depressing thing I've ever heard in my life. If I put it on in the morning when I get up...I'm useless for the rest of the day. Makes me feel like killing myself. It's like why even bother getting dressed when I can just slit my wrists. It's just devastating, as beautiful as it is devastating."
de verdad que musica tan extraodinaria simplemente es hermosa!!! me encantaba este dueto lastima que no continuaran, aunque lacrimosa no le pide nada.
I guess some kind of music still in here, inside of everyone as me, i can say this song is the special things that i can not express, said or write... but still in, thanks for the video... ethereal feelings on this lyrics, fade in... fade out, i wake up within every morning.
I love the mixed emotions in this. It begins so depressing and dark and all of a sudden all clouds break open and there's only pure euphory and happyness. But we all know that feeling cannot last forever, darkness will always find it's way back to you. That's how living feels sometimes, at least for me. Beautifull song...!
There is beauty in darkness and solitude, I listen to Lycia driving through the woods and mountains, and walking, this is the music that comes to mind on those cold, overcast winter days.
I listened to this cd all the way to Lake Tahoe this last weekend on loop, I didn't even think to change tracks, no fucking need to!!! A great setup to an epic snowboarding filled weekend, pure bliss...with Lycia still in my ears on the iPod on the slopes, trippy shit to snowboard to!!! haha
where did u got this pic ? please gimme a link :D

the power within these lyrics bring me strength in this void that sustains the grayness in everything i touch.

Good god, who took this picture of my backyard? Honestly, it just looks like this where I live. I like the music, though, gives a sound to desolation.
OldwomanAsh 11 months ago
@OldwomanAsh I really liked your comment. Desolation is exactly the sole, uncontested word that can best be used to describe Lycia in its entirety.

88 - Thumbs up.
0 - Thumps down.
.... make that now, 89.
And not a single bad write-up. Yes - this song does grow in you.
