He's an athlete not a fighter, i've studied him and like many martial artists they train and train for many years but hardly ever engage in a real fight that's not choreographed. Someone matched Bruce Lee against Muhammed Ali. What on earth? Bruce was big into weight training and nutrition, and actually he got to be around 160lbs, correct me if I'm wrong. Now, in a boxing ring, with gloves and rules, then Ali should be there, and you would expect him to beat the likes of Bruce Lee in the ring considering he is a heavyweight and Lee would be a featherweight, as well as the fact that Lee is all about the whole body being one (as in kicks, palms etc).

Bruce lee practiced from when he was 7 until he was 24 everyday for 7 hours but that was only because he got into the movie industry but still practiced for only about 2 hours a daywhen he was making movies. He was also in 15 martial arts tournaments won all of them and won 8 world titles. Muhammed ali would win in a boxing against bruce but bruce would probably kill ali in a streetfight.

Li was infact asked by Richard Nixon to be his personal bodyguard after winning a Wushu tournament. Bruce claimed one of the fastest knockout times at a world cup in history, with 11 seconds. He threw 15 punches and 1 kick in that time. Ali would win, but the others deserve credit also.

Jet Li would not be likely to beat a good MMA fighter in his weight range. Bruce Lee though, I think he could take most people, including MMA fighters in his range and higher. He was just too fast, flexible, agile, strong. His footwork and his cardio were equally impressive.

Jet Li is my favorite fighter and these martial artist make movies to give everyone a look at what they can do. In Jets book he says he trains 8hrs a day for 6 days a week, before he started movies he did 10hrs a day for 6 days a week. I take brazilian Jujitsu and I can take out a boxer with ease...I only know 1 style right now, next is (Shaolin)Kung-fu. I'd twist Ali into a pretzle and he couldn't do shit.face the fact. most fights end up on ground so boxing couldn't help you. Martial art is #1

Someone matched Bruce Lee against Muhammed Ali. What on earth? Bruce was big into weight training and nutrition, and actually he got to be around 160lbs, correct me if I'm wrong. So he was not very big. I can't see how the two could be reasonably compared, and I'm also not sure it would be a good idea to put Bruce Lee up against a big guy like Muhammed Ali. There's a reason they have welterweight, middleweight, heavyweight etc classes.
The whole idea is absurd lol.

Well I have a great respect for boxing, there have been some great fighters over the years. The aim of boxing is to knock out your opponent, not to kill them.
With some martial arts many strikes that are not used in full contact are intended to maim or kill.

@TheBestBoxingGame They all have actual fighting experience, hence in the description "best fighter". In my post, which i posted like 8 months ago... I was talking of a street fight with no rules. Now, in a boxing ring, with gloves and rules, then Ali should be there, and you would expect him to beat the likes of Bruce Lee in the ring considering he is a heavyweight and Lee would be a featherweight, as well as the fact that Lee is all about the whole body being one (as in kicks, palms etc).

@glenyale Not true, the only mainstream actor who got their acting Job actually through acting was Jet Li, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan got recognized an acting through their exellence in Martial Arts. Bruce Lee was raised by an actual world Champion in Kung Fu. Jackie Chan was not as into Martial Arts as Bruce was but he was a great fighter as well. To be honest Bruce Lee knew things about the body so that even if he faught Ali he could of Killed him within 30 seconds of a fight.

@erikjkl visual effects on movies makes his weapon usage much better. Bruce lee practiced from when he was 7 until he was 24 everyday for 7 hours but that was only because he got into the movie industry but still practiced for only about 2 hours a daywhen he was making movies. He was also in 15 martial arts tournaments won all of them and won 8 world titles. Muhammed ali would win in a boxing against bruce but bruce would probably kill ali in a streetfight.

I agree that Ali would win, however Bruce HAS proven himself, as have all the others. they are all at least at world champion level. Li was infact asked by Richard Nixon to be his personal bodyguard after winning a Wushu tournament. Bruce claimed one of the fastest knockout times at a world cup in history, with 11 seconds. He threw 15 punches and 1 kick in that time. Ali would win, but the others deserve credit also.

Jet Li would not be likely to beat a good MMA fighter in his weight range. Bruce Lee though, I think he could take most people, including MMA fighters in his range and higher. He was just too fast, flexible, agile, strong. His footwork and his cardio were equally impressive.

Jet Li is my favorite fighter and these martial artist make movies to give everyone a look at what they can do. In Jets book he says he trains 8hrs a day for 6 days a week, before he started movies he did 10hrs a day for 6 days a week. I take brazilian Jujitsu and I can take out a boxer with ease...I only know 1 style right now, next is (Shaolin)Kung-fu. I'd twist Ali into a pretzle and he couldn't do shit.face the fact. most fights end up on ground so boxing couldn't help you. Martial art is #1

The biggest difference amongst them all is that Ali fought for REAL on a regular basis.
Bruce, Jet and Tony are still the greatest marial arist in the biz though.

im sorry but bruce lee just has to be the best.. hes the only one out of these who developed a whole new way of fighting, jeet kown do is very different to any of the others, you no with the not forming a fist until just before contact, and the one inch punch is just genius. tony jaa is probably my fav though cause he uses no strings or anything through his films. and he has amazing parkour scenes, like the market one in ong-bak :)
