  • Calm before the storm, lb fro lb one of the greatest and most innovative societies of all time.

  • Thank you for putting this series on youtube! I love it!

  • gold ! gold ! gold ! deutsches gold ! danke mostcynical. 88

  • HEIL HITLER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Taking the Sudeten land had no excuse and still doesn't. The benefits Hitler got from this tiny part of Czechoslovakia gave him the chance to take far more land. Germany before this point had a weak spot on the Czech border as there could be an easy scissor movement applied by the allies. The Sudeten land contained most of the Czech forces/defences. Once Germany tuck this land it left Czechoslovakia defenceless and so they tuck the lot and Poland to follow. With Czecholvakia, Poland and Austria

  • Germany could then perform the scissor movement on Slovakia. However Rommel ordered by Hitler planed to take over Holland and Belgium first to equal the line against France as France held the cards due to a pint point border into Germany. Unfortunately the French surrendered in the end leaving most of the job to Russia and Great Britain (with resistances in occupied nations and the USA being dragged into the war towards the end after Pearl harbour and Adolf Hitler declared war on the USA.

  • The USA did not come into the war at the end, rather tey came in and ended it.

  • @OrodesIII Not at all. Hitler declared war on the USA. Not the other way around.

Rather the USA was dragged into war when the tide had already turned.

  • @STOPTHEEU The U.S declared war on Germany, because Japan was allied with Germany. Id say Pearl Harbor was used to get the U.S into Europe. Pearl Harbor was a set up.

  • @InfragilisTerminatio Actually, Hitler and Germany declared war on the U.S.A. about 2 days after the U.S. declared war on Japan. The Axis used the attack on Pearl Harbor to get the U.S. into the war. The Americans were informed of the Axis decision in the usual fashion -- sneak attack.

  • never to go to war with one another again! ironic! it was stupid to let germany take part of czech, but there again what should neville have done? frane was not willing to stop them. If our military had been bigger then perhaps it would never have happend. Thank god neville stepped down to allow churchill to become prime minister :-)

  • Obviously the sound/voices were mostly added in but much of the footage itself appears authentic and so I still think it's pretty interesting. I kind of like the voices being added because it helps you envision it a little better (though still understanding it they were added in)

  • You'r right, I think also .

Very interesting view of the nazi germany pre war

  • > ... Some masters of propaganda manipulations did very nice job.

~ Actually, noticing the deception is not that difficult

    ~

  • The Holy Land!

  • yes thats true but only in some parts.

  • Yes, it looks like all voices and conversations are faked. Some masters of propaganda manipulations did very nice job.

  • I noticed the voices of Hitler and other people are not real... someone has faked the voices...

just realized it when I watched it the second time...the voices are a joke and Himmler talking about shooting Jews in 1937 on tape? I think I would have heard about this...
