Scalpel looks nice. And that's the thing they can make carbon look nicer with not much more effort than making it look ordinary. Attracts people that care about looks/posing over real world performance/durability. They make more cash - esp as all frames break sooner.
My 2007 badboy carbon (Basically a Taurine) Just pulled that shit on me. Plus it'll be out of warranty because i had it painted. Shame really, it rode real nice.
