Of course he was only really dangerous when he was running around without a soul because he had no empathy and therefore killed people without feelings of guilt. Hell, he almost killed Bobby so he wouldn't get his soul back. Possessed Sammy wasn't at fault though. To conclude, nice Sammy is better in the long run because his brother doesn't have to watch his own back knowing that Sam wouldn't.

season 2 was REALLY god...it really showed sams struggles with being afraid of himslef and what he could become...then season 3 really showed deans feelings and his fear of loosing sammy and going to hell
