I always get so frustrated when my nails peel or break! I have a shorter nail on my right hand (broke during bowling last year) and it is insanely weak. Peels and breaks no matter how careful I am =/
I have recently started to use a fake nail (filed at the cuticle area) on one of my nails on my left hand. It broke a few weeks ago because I was in a rush to get to my next class. I can't type or do anything properly without it being long enough, so I used the fake nail.
I actually find that the fake nail protects the real nail from damage (use clear coats under the fake nail though so it's easier to remove and less damaging). Not many people noticed it was fake though!
I actually grew my nails for 1/2 year + and they never broke, the coats of nail polish helps a lot. After I stopped using nail polish (stained my nails yellow), they would break once in a while (a month or so), do you have any tips?

The part where the nail polish stains the nails yellow is unavoidable as far as I know. I did hear that lemon juice will help whiten your nails, but I never tried it.
wow..what else are you doing for them to be sone long and thick..mines are finally growing...but i want them to grow like yours lol...looking forward to a response and oh yea dont forget about my contest!=]

@arabprincess82192 I'll add some more extra tips I forgot to put in the video at the side.
Nails are easiest to break when the free edge(white part) is about half the length of mine (about 3mm/0.3cm/0.1in).
