All of you republican fundamentalist fascist bastards r the reason 4 the downfall for this country! Even your own party is divided against each other and pointing fingers! Never in my life have I ever seen so much close minded ppl.Obama proposed even republican views and ideas AND still you shake your head, plug your ears, and say "LALALALA!!! I can't hear u!". HE PROPOSED YOUR GUY'S VIEWS AND YOU STILL REJECTED THEM! YOUR VIEWS! NOT DEMOCRATIC! U republicans make us embarrassed to be a american
@AtheisticFighter9 In response to this video, Obamacare took $500 billion from Medicare. How's that hope & change working out for ya? Hope & change is not a job! You are already ashamed to be an American, that's why you like the statist policies of Cuba, Mexico & Venezuela. Those same states people hop fences & get on boats to get away from.
@BlackRepublican2010 In matter of fact its gonna work out great. The bill 4 the medicare didn't "steal" any money at all from the current medicare. It attempts to slow the program's future growth rounded around to 500 billion in spending increases over the next ten years. It doesn't cut the current funding for medicare. The 500 billion in savings come from reducing annual payments, higher income beneficiaries, n administrative changes. Cuba, Mexico, and Venezuela isn't communist but is dictatorship
@AtheisticFighter9 Whoever has the most money over there is in charge. No government because its mostly bribed by gangs, warlords, drug lords, and so on.
Hank Williams Jr. was right. Not supringly. "He's not for our people". In translation: "He will, and HAS niggerized America". Stupid low-classed blacks and illegals will cry it's racist.
Our leaders are not leading. They need to put their feet in the shoes of working Americans…. Instead, all they think about is re-election and implementing United Nations Agenda 21 and ICELI. If you don't know what UN Agenda 21 and ICELI are, then LEARN before you vote! It's why Obama did nothing to help US people--Obama wants WORLD redistribution of wealth.

ALL MUSLIMS BELIEVE IN THE SAME KORAN....allah akbar,,,allah akbar...allah akbar.....THAT WAS THE CHANT OF MUSLIMS AROUND THE WORLD WHEN THE TWIN TOWERS FELL.......YOU TAKE YOUR BULL SOMEWHERE ELSE!.........,AMERICA IS CHRISTIAN!
Yeah, the same Koran, but different interpretations. Only islamists and extremists believe and follow these passages. Did you even read my comment? The Christian Bible has many similar passages as well. Btw, Allah Akbar means, "God is great" or "God is the greatest" many christian Hymns, Psalms, prayers, etc. say the same thing. The people who act out of violence in the name of their religion pervert and distort their religion to fit their goals and justify their means.
@StaulkHolm -HOW DO YOU INTERPRET "BEHEAD THOSE WHO BELIEVE OTHER SCRIPTURE?"YOU ARE MUSLIM, SO TELL US-ISN'T IT TRUE THAT THE MUSLIM JESUS IS PROPHET ONLY AND YOU DENY THAT JESUS IS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD? ISN'T IT TRUE THAT MUSLIMS BELIEVE THAT THEIR JESUS IS LOWER THAN MOHAMMED? ISN'T IT TRUE THAT YOU BELIEVE WHEN YOUR MUSLIM JESUS RETURNS THAT HE WILL BEHEAD ALL CHRISTIANS AND JEWS? YOUR JESUS IS THE FALSE PROPHET ALL CHRISTIANS ARE WARNED OF IN REVELATIONS OF THE HOLY BIBLE....
Im an atheist. Religion and god concepts are bullshit, just like your ignorant, ill-informed, and poorly presented viewpoints. How do you interpret the story of God commanding abraham to kill his son? what could a benevolent and omnicient God stand to gain from this course of action, or even have the desire to do such a thing? that is one of dozens of horrible things from holy books, but most christians will twist it to say it was a story that displayed love for God.
@StaulkHolm ...CREATOR FATHER GOD KNEW THAT HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON WHO IS JESUS WOULD BE CRUCIFIED....SACRIFICED FOR OUR SINS.....ABRAHAM AND THE SACRIFICE OF HIS SON WAS SYMBOLIC.....ABRAHAM WAS WILLING TO SACRIFICE HIS SON.....FATHER GOD DID.....DID SACRIFICE HIS FIRSTBORN, AND ONLY BEGOTTEN SON JESUS.....FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD....IF WE CHOOSE TO REPENT.........PRAY..BELIEVE....REPENT....JESUS COMES SOON....

Why are people so fanatic about protecting Medicare? Doesn't anyone realize that these kinds of programs are breaking the backs and the books of America? We simply don't have the money to pay for this shit!!
An example: I personally pledge to pay the medical bills of my entire city, so long as they pay me $20 every month. Problem is, that doesn't come CLOSE to covering the total cost of all medical treatment, so I have to take out 50 credit cards to make up the difference.
@soulforged789 Last time I checked, the 2010 budget for defence was $500bn, and $148bn for the war on terror. There should be money for medicaid, if there is money for metallic amusement
RON PAUL IS GOING TO BE PROSECUTED BY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! ITS UNCONSTITUTIONAL TO CALL AMERICAN PEOPLE INVADERS AND INITIATERS OF WARS.
RON PAUL SAID THE USA INVADES COUNTRIES AND STARTS WARS, WHICH GIVES USA A BAD REPUTATION AROUND THE WORLD , THEREFORE IT IS CONSIDERED A CRIME . A US CITIZEN WHO
WAS BORN IN USA CANT GO AGAINST GOVERNMENT POLICIES WHICH MIGHT TREATEN THE FUTURE
The problem with the whole debate is that we now have $100trillion liabilities and about 80% are in these social programs. So in order to protect our countries future, you have to look at some reasonable cuts to these programs. There can not be a "no hands" approach to fixing our countries debt problems if you are unwilling to look at these programs.
@jacobew2000 If you cut defence spending, you can easily start off paying the national debt. Using Andrew jackson's technique, the national debt can be paid off in one year. But the educative system in our country makes you think its all about cutting down..........................no its not.
@phceidem I agree. But 90% of the budget now is for the various social programs. There is an estimated $54 trillion liability that has been promised to the American public. Americans have become a bunch of babies, expecting the GOVT to pay for everything. If you took an american at the turn of the 20th century and put them into today, they would be spanking their adult children because of this stupid entitlement mentality we have done. America is basically bankrupt!
@jacobew2000 We've been bankrupt since 1933, just paying the interests of the debt using income tax money. We spent the borrowed money on the both wars, just like we are doing now. They say income tax will have to increase to 65% only to be able to cover up the interest in about 10yrs. The social programs will definitely give way sooner or later. Thats why we need Dr Ron Paul
@phceidem I would argue its been since the 16th amendment in 1913. When we gave the govt the unlimited power to tax, they then went running forward with all the corruption that comes with that. Both parties have used this as an excuse for spending, but sadly its been the liberals who have ran with it. The military budget is less than 5% of our GDP, while our social programs are now more than 90% and growing out of control. Its estimated that its over $50 TRILLION in unfunded mandates!
@jacobew2000 No, GDP is not a very good instrument in measuring spending by govt. Look at the annual revenue of 2.7 trillion, and then a defence budget of 500bn, medicare/medicaid 622bn. That is disgusting. Defence against what, a buch of arabs living in caves, Briton only spends about 46bn pounds annually on defence, and the british airforce has over 1000 jets.
@phceidem this is the problem with the liberal agenda for the past 100 years. Show me where in the constitution that the social programs are the fed govt's responsibilty? I cant find it (sorry but the commerce clause has been badly interpreted for decades). FDR and Johnson were both wrong when they passed all these social programs, even if they are popular. Its estimated that its now a $54 trillion obligation for the social programs. How can we pay for it all? Rich people are not that rich!
@jacobew2000 Society cannot function without an orderly government, that is a fact. Where in the constitution? Under Human Rights. That spending was over a period of time just like Obama's $15 Trillion stimulus which is split over the course of 10 years which is what? $1.5 Trillion each year & our annual GDP $15 Trillion each year. No matter what bullshit you throw at me its the Federal Order's responsibility for progress of society & they happily done it these past 2 years.
@Bronzecop That is your world viewpoint. It is not and I repeat NOT the federal gov'ts responsibility to interfer with the 10th amendment and states rights. There is nothing in the constitution that states "human rights". Everything you are pushing is the "feel good society", that has no basis in fact nor law. When it is all said and done, how are you going to pay for it all? When the debt become $4trillion/year and only $3trillion in taxes are coming in, how can we pay for it? You cant!
@phceidem GDP is, unless you want to count in underground revenue which is not part of the GDP. You'll have the healthcard mailed to you, but no ones forcing you to use it; you're just pissed off the lower classes will catch a break from the Human Development Programs. You're full of shit, so illness is not a problem? STFU lol. So according to you eating food & drinking water is not necessary either right? The rich has been sliding by for years its time for them to pay their 21% like we do.
@Bronzecop No Mr Bronzecop, I do not want a cut in healthcare. I actually want the exact opposite. I want a 75% cut in defence budget, as it is a total waste. The more military bases and interventions we build, the more enemies we get and the more need for defence contracts. At the moment, we are by far the biggest in military technology (including space shuttles and anti-ballistics), so there is no real threath to our existence, no need for $500bn annual defence budget.
@phceidem Sorry that part about the Human Development Programs was not meant to be aimed at you, just the GDP one. Got you mixed up with that other idiot who wants to cut all of it. You're right though the spending on the military affairs is over kill compared to the spending on education, healthcare & infrastructure combined.
@Bronzecop I get what that guy is on about. The income tax law is invalid, as the 16th ammendment was not even ratified by all states. Woodrow wilson swung it in magically. If we dont pay income taxes to the federal govt, we then will not need government health care subsidies. But at the moment, we certainly do.
@phceidem We said that in the 1930's before we were attacked by the Japanese. In the first year of WW2, we were arming our soldiers with BROOMSTICKS in basic training. Its sad that as a society, we forget the deaths of those thousands of soldiers in the early years of WW2 because of our isolationist policies of the 1920's and 30's. We have enemies overseas that want to destroy us. Iran is a hotpotatoe that one day will have to be dealt with, but we have our heads in the sand like in 1940.
@jacobew2000 The pearl harbour attacks were provoked by Roosevelt. He broke the american constitution by giving public loans to china that was at war with japan, and gave military aid to the british who were at war with japan. He stopped selling oil to japan, froze their assets, and stopped supplying them iron. Isolation would have kept us away from ww2, and allow the germans and the communists cancel out each other. I support Ron Paul.
@phceidem This is an old, and outdated spin by the peacenicks of the 1940's, that said Roosevelt somehow knew about pearl harbor. Isolationism brought us into WW2. Nazi records found after the war showed that hitler wanted long range bombers to hit the US, were written in 1940. The german navy in 1935 didnt want to go to war until 1947 so they could build more ships. Socialist nazis or communists are both contrary to our american life, so eventually they would had to destroy and enslave us.
@jacobew2000 Its good to realise that the allies attacked germany first, for no just cause. Its also good to realise that germany had all reson to attack us because we were supporting their enemies (british). Dont forget that in 1942, the newyork banking corperation was found with nazi currencies, as they were laundering dollars to the germans. Dont forget that standard oil supplied hitler with petro and special additive for his Jets. If we were isolated from the start, Hitler would not have....
@phceidem Actually, germany attacked several of our DD's and merchant ships in the months before pearl harbor, while escorting american shipping in the open seas between the USA and Britain. The only reason why Germany didnt declare war on us in 1940 was because they were trying to defeat Britain and Russia, and consolidate their power in Europe before coming after us. IDK where u get the standard oil thing. Germany/italy invaded Africa over oil.
@jacobew2000 Dont forget the British and the other allies had slave nations in africa and asia, where they occasionally commited genocides, no different from what the Nazis had in mind. WW2 had nothing to do with helping the world, it was an excuse for the federal reserve boys within the american govt to amount huge debts, so we can then have large interests to pay. It also benefitted the iron and steel and oil industries owned by the Morgans and the rockefellars.
@phceidem Wow, you are honestly going to sit there and say that British had "slave nations" in africa in 1940? Britain passed the antislave act in 1833. What GENOCIDES are you talking about? I cant find any that the nation did as a matter of national policy. Same for the USA today! I guess that you have never read the interviews of the Japanese Admirals after they were captured in 1945 about why they attacked us in 1941. It was about glory to their emperor, not about money.
@jacobew2000 No, when I said slave nation, I meant colonies that were ruled by their selfish interests. Talking about genocides, you have one done by the british in kenya duriing the mau mau uprising,. The best example of allied genocide was the congolese holocaust, done by the belgians. Pearl harbour would not have been attacked if we werent giving public loans to China to fight the japanese, or giving weapons to England. The pearl harbour attack was wrong anyway.
@Bronzecop It is not that the "lower classes" will get a break. Sadly that is the class warfare of the left. I find it funny how most poor people live. Most that I know (and I live in a very poor area of the country), have TV's, and cars, gaming systems, etc. Heck I know people who have better TV's than I do, and they are 100% on welfare. We have created a lazy society by giving money to anyone who says they cant get a job. HC is a states responsibility, not Fed gov'ts. ok 21% FOR ALL!!!
@Bronzecop No matter if you tax the rich 21%, or even 100%, it still doesnt pay for all the spending that is being done today. That is the myth about taxing the rich, that no one else will have to pay more taxes. The middle class now has to take on more and more taxes to pay for that 41% of the population (up from 25% just 10 years ago) that are now paying ZERO taxes. When we get to the tipping point of 60% not paying taxes, this country will go bankrupt, if not before that!
@jacobew2000 You again? Being a broken record so not everyone chips in their fair share? You're full of it. The only solution here is to have a equalibrium on taxes & spending cuts on unnecessary expendatures such as all of those military bases all over the world.
@Bronzecop Yep me again. I am only bringing the facts. Even if you suddenly abandoned our allies and cut all defense spending, still would barely make a dent in the trillions of unfunded mandates that has been passed by the democratic congress'. You speak of unnecessary expendatures? How about the fact that every time you give out money to people, they abuse it. As they say, GIVE A MAN A FISH, HE EATS FOR THE DAY, TEACH HIM TO FISH, HE EATS FOR LIFE! That old saying is even more true today!
@jacobew2000 Obviously you think the Hundreds of Billions that would be brought in from those few actions would not help whatsoever. If you're going to act like a Neo-Merc you better be one. You're a broken record you know that? How many times are you going to repeat yourself by telling me that Human Development isnt important? Well want me to listen? Go a month without Food & Water and show me if you're in a state of homeostasis, then I'll listen.
@Bronzecop You know what bronzecop, if america has no money for social care, it has no money. It cannot go and steal (which its actually doing). If we get bankrupt, the IMF will force us to cut social care, devalue our currency, sell our resources cheap and eliminate trade restrictions. Its just like in real life, you have no money, you cant buy everything you want. Life's a bitch.
@Bronzecop I think that a few cuts are necessary, but when the defense of the nation costs less than 9% of the budget, all I hear from you is that cutting 100% of the defense is somehow going to justify the out of control spending "for human development". How about personal responsibilty to go out and get a job. The reason why we have 9.2% unemployment is because people are lazy and wont even consider swinging a hammer, or digging a ditch if it means a job. Not with free unemployment benefits!
@jacobew2000 Either you're tired or you suck at twisting my words. I said those bases that are unnecessary such as the ones in Spain, France & Greece for example, the ones at home are just fine. I do have a job dummy but spending in education leads to better jobs & people paying more taxes; thus the circulation of the system stays healthy. People areant going to kill themselves at low wage hard labor, 7.25/hour at fastfood or retail is better than hand picking crops in the field for $9.25/hour.
@phceidem I actually agree with you, it is disgusting that we are spending 622bn on medicare/caid. When you compare spending on defense to that of medicaid, only defense spending is specifically mentioned as a responsibility of the Federal GOVT in constitution. These social programs, are not the responsibility of the Feds, but that of the states via the 10th and 14th amendments. Britian is barely able to keep up with the attacks in Libya, how can they defend themselves? The USA is how!
@jacobew2000 500bn on defence is senseless. Who are we defending against, osama in a cave. We keep building military bases all over the world, building facilities that cost billions to maintain. If we back off thirld world politics, there will be no reason for anyone to show aggression towards the US. As long as we continue causing military coups worldwide, backing dictators like the ousted Mubarak, and bullying small countries, there will always be need to a big military budget.
@phceidem If you cut the defense budget, that only accounts for $500billion, and thats if you cut 100% of it. Never mind that we are $2100billion in the hole each year. So you still have to cut somewhere else to balance the budget. Somehow you are forgetting the math. The social programs are bankrupting America. That is a simple fact that the left is lying to the American people that its not social programs that will one day have to stop being giving out as if its chump change.
This may be the last opportunity for America to reverse this track of destruction we are on – and a chance to rebuild a system of governance that understands its true role, to protect our freedoms and support the right to private property and the accumulation of wealth. Liberties well understood by those who architected American's Constitution and the Bill of Rights. RON PAUL 2012 <3333
Obama shouldn't get any funding for the 2012 election he doesn't have a single point. On his side to say 'vote for me' we need a conservative in the white house.
@Tsugua21 You're weird dude, how can you consider putting money towards the people in education so they can find a career that requires degrees nowadays as communist?
@Bronzecop read the communist manifesto. Their first thing is to teach the kids that the govt knows all and that there is a collective right to everyone. This breeds a horrible thing called lazyness, because if everything is always given to you, then why should you ever need to be a productive member of society? Thats why communism in russia failed, and china has become communist in name only. They have a capitalist market now in all but the social programs in order to try from imploding.
@jacobew2000 The stuff mentioned in the programs are not free, how do you think the public roads get fixed? Taxes, with a free college education you can grab yourself a career that pays a lot more money thus more taxes is payed (21% of $40,000 is more than 21% of $15,000). Is becoming knowledgable really becoming lazy? How about the mason that gets his certification? He knows more thus getting more pay, dont know about you but mason work requires elbow grease.
@Bronzecop Roads get fixed by a public fuel tax that EVERYONE pays EQUALLY at the pump. I never got a free college education. I was middleclass, not poor enough for the grants, and yet not rich enough to pay for it outright. I am still paying those loans years latter. Fed Govt has screwed all our schools for decades. People sold their souls to the Feds for "free education", without realizing that they still get taxed for it in some way. Business simply pass on the taxes in their products.
@jacobew2000 Taxes for infrastructure comes from the annual GDP, not just from taxes at the gas station. I dont know what career you obtained from that education but I hope you're playing it smart. More like those from state governments that get into federal positions that screw with the Education System. Taxes pay for that free education, I see no problem with taxes supporting that necessity. State tax from products only help the state unless its like Tariffs.
@Bronzecop Well I do agree with you, but keep in mind that unlike the HC law, the fed govt has the actual constitutional duty to making roads. Whether you like it or not, the states via the 10th amendment has the right to HC control, not the Fed govt. My mother is a teacher for over 45 years, and she is shocked at how bad the public schools has been destroyed by the Fed Govt laws. Liberals have misinterpreted the commerce clause for the past 100 years.
@jacobew2000 You're right but state healthcare is different from federal healthcare. The reform is not hindering the states right to provide its own health coverage, now is it? You blame liberals who are the ones supporting the education system for it falling behind but in reality it is your Neo-Merc buddies who are right now trying to cut education funds at the state level. An Act instated by Obama in April 2010 improved education, the neo-mercs are trying to stop its from doing it's job.
@Bronzecop Sure it is. The democratic congress passed the HC act and are claiming that it overrides all the states HC programs, and it further prevents companies from providing insurance. As for schools, my state is heavy democratic and it is in the bottom 3 states most years. A neighboring republican state is in the top 10. Go figure... Why should should anyone allow an OBAMA law of any kind when its the same BS that has been going on for the past 40 years that is destroying us.
@jacobew2000 The way state governments are cutting benefits from their health plans, I think the federal government's healthcards has to step in. Why have the people waste their money on over priced insurance when they can save it for other important things like utilities. My state is in the slums on performance as well but that doesnt mean funding should be cut for education. That only makes things worse, even with the funding from the stimulus package helped more kids graduate last year.
@Bronzecop Thats just it. The feds CANT step in as you put it, unless you pass a constitutional amendment that allows them to do what they want to do. Besides, the so-called "overpriced" insurance is actually cheaper than the false ponzi-scheme that is being put to the american taxpayer. The tax payer is subsidizing heavily those who are still not putting anything into the system. If the public schools are shot, why are we not looking at other ways of teaching our kids instead of flushin cash
@jacobew2000 Yeah sure, but when you have a min. wage job that $10,000/year is way more than just that 4% out of your paycheck every payday to maintain a healthcard. Public schools is the only thing the public masses have & certainly a small percent of them are home scholars, its time to build up the public schools up to date like the private schools. Rooting out geniuses is harmful to society, you get very few geniuses from the top 2% as it is. Democracy is coming & I know why you hate it.
@Bronzecop Democracy is coming? LOL... how is an overpowering Federal government that controls and rules over everything that you do be considered a democracy? Ben Franklin warned against a big Fed Govt. He warned that when they set up the Fed Govt system in 1780's that it should only be used for protecting free trade among the states, countries and people, and for defense of the nation and nothing more. What has made America great is our freedom to choose an live, free from govt interference.
@jacobew2000 Also, the federal government can step in when the state governments are not doing their jobs. The state governments adhere to the Federal Order, why do you think the word "Respectively" is in the 10th amendment? If it wasnt the southern states will still be practicing Jim Crow. Also education & healthcare provided by the federal government is not an impedement of states power to control themselves. Basic Necessities is the government's job to provide, not the private sector.
@Bronzecop You mention the Federal govt can step in when the state govts are not doing their job, but in recent years, the supreme court has ruled numerous times that that the Feds dont have a blank ticket to override states rights. Regardless of the slave issue which I actually believe was wrong, if you look at rule of law, the southern states were correct in their interpretation of states rights in 1859. Please read the 10th amendment. Where does it say that feds have all the rights?
@jacobew2000 I have read the 10th amendment, the Federal Order can step in anytime when a state is not functioning properly. The federal goverernment even has the right to put a state under Marshall Law if things in that state get really out of hand. The federal government doesnt control everything, they sure do not dictate what job I will have, when I will go to the doctor, participate in group activities or anything like those failure like Stalin, Mao & Kim you're cheaply reffering to.
@Bronzecop Also, if you look at the case NY v US (1992), the supreme court ruled that the Federal govt could not force NY to pay for waste disposal within their states boundries. That is why things federal mandated healthcare will be declared unconstitutional because you are saying that that state isnt "functioning properly" but that doesnt matter if they are or not, because its within their boundries of their state.
@Bronzecop I respectfully disagree that the Federal Govt can step in any time when a "state isnt doing their jobs". That is your opinion, not based in law. The states gave the federal govt specific responsibilities, and all others are reserved to the states. Thats the basis of the 10th amendment. While I am against the "jim crow" laws, technically the south was right in demanding their states rights in the 1850's-60's. I respect lincoln on many things, but he got this one wrong.
@jacobew2000 Also there is no complete government authority in all of the programs out there for the people to use, its your choice. Dont want that free education? thats on you, its only there to help. In 2014 you dont have to use that healthcard, you can still go to that private doctor; its your choice. Who says that you have to take that public transportation? Its your choice whether you take it or not.
@Bronzecop With the HC law, there is option to opt out of it. It has destroyed my ability to choose a private insurance provider since no company can compete with the GOVT who can unfairly tax whatever they think they need to keep that social program going. Its all a lie. Pay the private company $100, or the govt $50, plus another $100 in back door taxes to keep the govt mandated program alive. Besides the military, you tell me ONE govt program that isnt over budget. You CANT!
@jacobew2000 I see the reform as a good thing since I already have federal healthcare thanks to the military. And the way these private companies have been avoiding taxes, they should be taxed highly for avoiding taxes for how many years? I rather have everything covered than some ticket that covers 60% of my costs & have it supported just by paying 4% out of each paycheck from all of us. Ever heard of special interest? Thats about 12% of the federal budget & it needs to be lowered.
@Bronzecop and... in 2014, there wont be any private insurance, and there will be even fewer doctors available when millions of more people flood the HC system. Doctors are leaving in droves with those fears plus the fact that the GOVT is telling Docs to charge far less than is even necessary for them to run their practices. They are told to only spend to a limited time per patient. Besides, I am optimistic the courts will toss the whole democrat HC bill out on its butt be4 then anyway.
@jacobew2000 I could care less for private doctors, when the federal gov't needs something it gets it done. They'll hire doctors who are willing to take the average federal salary ($100,000/year) plus federal benefits that private doctors will never have. Right now Obama's healthcare plan is too popular & its a death wish for anyone who opposes it, about time we become like our Canadian neighbors in a small sense. These basic necessities are needed for social progress & the people realize that.
@Bronzecop the doctors will go private enmass, and will no longer accept any form of insurance. This will destroy the socialist HC system anyway. A friend of mine is a govt pharmacist and she is leaving the GOVT for a private company in 2 years because its almost TRIPLE the pay. Popular or not, its unconstutional! The supreme court was designed to prevent the passions of the public from overriding commonsense and the law. Besides, it wont matter if its popular if the USA defaults on its debt
@jacobew2000 Do you truly think people leaving the federal level because of greed will end the reform? I'm sorry but I find that as a joke. People will be trained to replace them. Providing a Basic Human Necessity unconstitutional? "because it stops the private sector from obtaining absolute control in a field" LMAO If you haven't noticed a monopoly is against the law. Dont twist words, the supreme court is to stop the "Tyranny of the Majority" the top 2% rich are those who control everything.
@Bronzecop HC is not a "basic human necessity" as you put it. That is a BS line that has been pushed by the liberals for the past 100 years to justify all these social programs that are now bankrupting America. It has created a situation whereby people have no self responsibilty to provide for themselves. I have seen kids who are given everything, and now they are adults that think they must have everything given to them. They are spoiled brats and now spoiled adults! Stop ripping the rich.
@jacobew2000 The U.S. may be in debt, but the U.S. pays about $1 trillion of debt a year, as long as payments are being made (as usual) everything will continue to function. $150 billion a year is supporting the healthcards when we get them in 2014, a simple 1% of the GDP. If you think this is unconstitutional tell that to all of our military personel that their federal healthcare is that. Remember Jim Crow when the states did whenever they wanted? The federal gov't had to put an end to that.
@Bronzecop You mention that miltary personel get free federal healthcare, but you forget that defense is a specific responsibilty that the constitution gives the federal govt. Our military budget and how we handle the military is a Fed Govt Responsibility. You dont have to join the military. But now a private citizen is forced to get HC. If you want it, then pass a constitutional amendment changing the constitution. Otherwise it is unconstitutional to force HC upon the people.
@Bronzecop I blame the lawyers for the issue of required degrees now. Years past, you could do on the job training for things like construction, and be a "tradesman" and make a good living. Now you have to go to some college, take a tradesman program and get "certified" to do it. Most of the required courses in college are a rip off. Why do i need a PE or theater course when Im doing a Nurse or Engineering program? 30% dont even graduate from college nowadays, yet cant pay the loans.
@jacobew2000 As the technology level continues to increase so does acquiring knowledge, there are tools & methods that can only be learned in college now. & the first two years of college is to obtain broad field of knowledge, its the same no matter where you go. Those who dont graduate from college must of had a stump in the road or are choosing a field too difficult for them. But it is necessary now to have a educated society & it will fall behind which the records show clear as crystal.
@iansheng Free healtcare is economic slavery, because it is forcing the redistribution of wealth. In case if you are not following the HC court trials, a 3 judge panel last week again ruled the HC law unconstitutional. They also said that they can not separate the UC part from the constitustional part, basically making it all UnConstitutional.
The democrats really wasted 2 years passing a law that did nothing, while the country imploded under debt.
@manonthemount I dont believe for a second that we are stuck with Obama. He has no commonsense agenda. He pretty much let Pelosi and Reed run the country for the first 2 years in office, and was then surprised when his liberal friends lost in big numbers in the 2010 elections. He does not deserve to be a president, especially after watching his last 2 years. He's completely dumbfounded with how to govern with a Republican house majority. He wont even try to compromise.
PCCC is the only group standing up for principles .this president has to be moved with threats ..not constant begging and pleading from the base ..it worked for the tea party...the republicans all fell in line ,,i'm one of the folks who signed the petition ..and he obviously got the message.. in that speech he didnt talk about making cuts to medicare medicaid, or social security ...
Well I've already vowed to give no money to Obama for 2012. The question is now will I even vote for him. I guess I probably will because another Republican president absolutely terrifies me, but after that tax deal and these other broken promises like the Public option and closing Guantamo he's certainly not making me enthusiastic for him.
One thing is for sure, my vote in 2012 wont be for Obama (nor any Democrat) less even to Crooked Politicians like the GOP. PEOPLE STOP VOTING FOR THE SAME TWO-PARTY SYSTEM, VOTE FOR A THIRD PARTY!!!! PERIOD!!!
Obama is too concerned with making friends in Congress to be a good leader for America anymore. He needs to just drop out of 2012 and let a REAL democrat run.
You can really tell how much of a dissapointment obama is by just watching tyt videos from a year or two back, Cenk say in always everyvideo back then that obama knows politics,
I signed this petition yesterday, but I don't think it goes far enough. I think we need to make a list of demands and make the President accept them or refuse to support him. He have to hold him hostage with our vote. I would like to see the PCCC do a much broader petition rather than just concentrating on medicare. How about Medicare4All.
What difference does him agreeing to anything make? He made big promises last time then knifed us in the back, he will do it again. And if he losses because progressives stay home yet again like the last midterms, they will go "look see... he was to liberal!" *sigh*
@Meatbag211 You really wasted cash by sending money to Obama. His biggest lobbyist was goldman sachs, one of the largest financial institutions in the world. The campaign cost was $750m officially, but according to Ron Paul, it may be as high as $2bn. So where did you money go. Sorry.
@JBBlitz I think the corporate media is touting Trump because they want Obama to win. Obama is in trouble, so they see Trump having a Ross Perot effect, siphoning off conservative votes from the republicans. Divide the conservative vote, and get corporate friendly Obama back for 4 more years.
@Waranle Obama is nothing but a pig, hes a corrupt worthless stupid peice of shit who will be thrown out in 2012. Obama would practically lose to almost anyone at this point.
Bush was an idiot but atleast he do what he said, like it or not he get things done, what he does people might not like it, but he got it done, most of Bush agenda were awful but it went through.
Obama on the hand is just pathetic, he talk too much promised to much and never get anything done, he's a pussy, he never fight for any of his agenda, and the worst thing was he always pat himself on the back for job well done and when shit happen he blames us, like its our fault...pathetic.
Problem is, elections are Nov 2012. He'll just play along until then, and then at the start of his second term, he'll sign on to some slightly modified version of Ryan's proposal, which will include cutting both Medicare and Medicaid. Why should anyone take Obama at his word anymore? He's a filthy lying snake.
@dookdawg214 We'll see. His second term is going to define him. We'll see if he was doing all these compromises for the money and to be reelected or if he believes in that shyt.
@dookdawg214 Because plenty of folks have actually looked at his campaign promises, and he has done most of them, like 75%, and because Obama is no worse than any other Democratic president we have. i really think people are overreacting, and sound a little ridiculous acting like he is evil or something. He is not an ignorant asshole like plenty of politicians, and we're all disappointed, but none of this shit is going to change unless the entire system of politics changes.
Oh please. 75% if you make a list of all the tiny bills he signed. You're so full of shit. I'm looking at the BIG picture. Obama promised change in Washington, but he never fights for ANYTHING. He caved in on public option, he let the GOP water down finance reform, he extended Bush tax cuts, he fired liberals wrongly based on pressure from the right -- the list goes on. What's worse, he had everyone on his side! He had a mandate, and majorities in House and Senate. He did nothing!
I signed it as well just now. Everybody else should sign it as well. Even if you didn't plan on voting for him in the first place. He needs to quit acting like a parrot for the republicans and give us what he promised. Of course so does all presidents.

BlackRepublican2010 2 months ago
@BlackRepublican2010 In matter of fact its gonna work out great. The bill 4 the medicare didn't "steal" any money at all from the current medicare. It attempts to slow the program's future growth rounded around to 500 billion in spending increases over the next ten years. It doesn't cut the current funding for medicare. The 500 billion in savings come from reducing annual payments, higher income beneficiaries, n administrative changes. Cuba, Mexico, and Venezuela isn't communist but is dictatorship

Unsustainable.

The problem with the whole debate is that we now have $100trillion liabilities and about 80% are in these social programs. So in order to protect our countries future, you have to look at some reasonable cuts to these programs. There can not be a "no hands" approach to fixing our countries debt problems if you are unwilling to look at these programs.
jacobew2000 9 months ago
@jacobew2000 If you cut defence spending, you can easily start off paying the national debt. Using Andrew jackson's technique, the national debt can be paid off in one year. But the educative system in our country makes you think its all about cutting down..........................no its not.
phceidem 8 months ago
@phceidem I agree. But 90% of the budget now is for the various social programs. There is an estimated $54 trillion liability that has been promised to the American public. Americans have become a bunch of babies, expecting the GOVT to pay for everything. If you took an american at the turn of the 20th century and put them into today, they would be spanking their adult children because of this stupid entitlement mentality we have done. America is basically bankrupt!
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 We've been bankrupt since 1933, just paying the interests of the debt using income tax money. We spent the borrowed money on the both wars, just like we are doing now. They say income tax will have to increase to 65% only to be able to cover up the interest in about 10yrs. The social programs will definitely give way sooner or later. Thats why we need Dr Ron Paul
phceidem 8 months ago
@phceidem I would argue its been since the 16th amendment in 1913. When we gave the govt the unlimited power to tax, they then went running forward with all the corruption that comes with that. Both parties have used this as an excuse for spending, but sadly its been the liberals who have ran with it. The military budget is less than 5% of our GDP, while our social programs are now more than 90% and growing out of control. Its estimated that its over $50 TRILLION in unfunded mandates!
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 No, GDP is not a very good instrument in measuring spending by govt. Look at the annual revenue of 2.7 trillion, and then a defence budget of 500bn, medicare/medicaid 622bn. That is disgusting. Defence against what, a buch of arabs living in caves, Briton only spends about 46bn pounds annually on defence, and the british airforce has over 1000 jets.
phceidem 8 months ago
@phceidem this is the problem with the liberal agenda for the past 100 years. Show me where in the constitution that the social programs are the fed govt's responsibilty? I cant find it (sorry but the commerce clause has been badly interpreted for decades). FDR and Johnson were both wrong when they passed all these social programs, even if they are popular. Its estimated that its now a $54 trillion obligation for the social programs. How can we pay for it all? Rich people are not that rich!
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 Society cannot function without an orderly government, that is a fact. Where in the constitution? Under Human Rights. That spending was over a period of time just like Obama's $15 Trillion stimulus which is split over the course of 10 years which is what? $1.5 Trillion each year & our annual GDP $15 Trillion each year. No matter what bullshit you throw at me its the Federal Order's responsibility for progress of society & they happily done it these past 2 years.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop That is your world viewpoint. It is not and I repeat NOT the federal gov'ts responsibility to interfer with the 10th amendment and states rights. There is nothing in the constitution that states "human rights". Everything you are pushing is the "feel good society", that has no basis in fact nor law. When it is all said and done, how are you going to pay for it all? When the debt become $4trillion/year and only $3trillion in taxes are coming in, how can we pay for it? You cant!
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@phceidem GDP is, unless you want to count in underground revenue which is not part of the GDP. You'll have the healthcard mailed to you, but no ones forcing you to use it; you're just pissed off the lower classes will catch a break from the Human Development Programs. You're full of shit, so illness is not a problem? STFU lol. So according to you eating food & drinking water is not necessary either right? The rich has been sliding by for years its time for them to pay their 21% like we do.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop No Mr Bronzecop, I do not want a cut in healthcare. I actually want the exact opposite. I want a 75% cut in defence budget, as it is a total waste. The more military bases and interventions we build, the more enemies we get and the more need for defence contracts. At the moment, we are by far the biggest in military technology (including space shuttles and anti-ballistics), so there is no real threath to our existence, no need for $500bn annual defence budget.
phceidem 8 months ago
@phceidem Sorry that part about the Human Development Programs was not meant to be aimed at you, just the GDP one. Got you mixed up with that other idiot who wants to cut all of it. You're right though the spending on the military affairs is over kill compared to the spending on education, healthcare & infrastructure combined.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop I get what that guy is on about. The income tax law is invalid, as the 16th ammendment was not even ratified by all states. Woodrow wilson swung it in magically. If we dont pay income taxes to the federal govt, we then will not need government health care subsidies. But at the moment, we certainly do.
phceidem 8 months ago
@phceidem I agree with you, heavily.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@phceidem We said that in the 1930's before we were attacked by the Japanese. In the first year of WW2, we were arming our soldiers with BROOMSTICKS in basic training. Its sad that as a society, we forget the deaths of those thousands of soldiers in the early years of WW2 because of our isolationist policies of the 1920's and 30's. We have enemies overseas that want to destroy us. Iran is a hotpotatoe that one day will have to be dealt with, but we have our heads in the sand like in 1940.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 The pearl harbour attacks were provoked by Roosevelt. He broke the american constitution by giving public loans to china that was at war with japan, and gave military aid to the british who were at war with japan. He stopped selling oil to japan, froze their assets, and stopped supplying them iron. Isolation would have kept us away from ww2, and allow the germans and the communists cancel out each other. I support Ron Paul.
phceidem 8 months ago
@phceidem This is an old, and outdated spin by the peacenicks of the 1940's, that said Roosevelt somehow knew about pearl harbor. Isolationism brought us into WW2. Nazi records found after the war showed that hitler wanted long range bombers to hit the US, were written in 1940. The german navy in 1935 didnt want to go to war until 1947 so they could build more ships. Socialist nazis or communists are both contrary to our american life, so eventually they would had to destroy and enslave us.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 Its good to realise that the allies attacked germany first, for no just cause. Its also good to realise that germany had all reson to attack us because we were supporting their enemies (british). Dont forget that in 1942, the newyork banking corperation was found with nazi currencies, as they were laundering dollars to the germans. Dont forget that standard oil supplied hitler with petro and special additive for his Jets. If we were isolated from the start, Hitler would not have....
phceidem 7 months ago
@phceidem Actually, germany attacked several of our DD's and merchant ships in the months before pearl harbor, while escorting american shipping in the open seas between the USA and Britain. The only reason why Germany didnt declare war on us in 1940 was because they were trying to defeat Britain and Russia, and consolidate their power in Europe before coming after us. IDK where u get the standard oil thing. Germany/italy invaded Africa over oil.
jacobew2000 7 months ago
@jacobew2000 Dont forget the British and the other allies had slave nations in africa and asia, where they occasionally commited genocides, no different from what the Nazis had in mind. WW2 had nothing to do with helping the world, it was an excuse for the federal reserve boys within the american govt to amount huge debts, so we can then have large interests to pay. It also benefitted the iron and steel and oil industries owned by the Morgans and the rockefellars.
phceidem 7 months ago
@phceidem Wow, you are honestly going to sit there and say that British had "slave nations" in africa in 1940? Britain passed the antislave act in 1833. What GENOCIDES are you talking about? I cant find any that the nation did as a matter of national policy. Same for the USA today! I guess that you have never read the interviews of the Japanese Admirals after they were captured in 1945 about why they attacked us in 1941. It was about glory to their emperor, not about money.
jacobew2000 7 months ago

HC is a states responsibility, not Fed gov'ts. ok 21% FOR ALL!!!
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@Bronzecop No matter if you tax the rich 21%, or even 100%, it still doesnt pay for all the spending that is being done today. That is the myth about taxing the rich, that no one else will have to pay more taxes. The middle class now has to take on more and more taxes to pay for that 41% of the population (up from 25% just 10 years ago) that are now paying ZERO taxes. When we get to the tipping point of 60% not paying taxes, this country will go bankrupt, if not before that!
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 You again? Being a broken record so not everyone chips in their fair share? You're full of it. The only solution here is to have a equalibrium on taxes & spending cuts on unnecessary expendatures such as all of those military bases all over the world.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop Yep me again. I am only bringing the facts. Even if you suddenly abandoned our allies and cut all defense spending, still would barely make a dent in the trillions of unfunded mandates that has been passed by the democratic congress'. You speak of unnecessary expendatures? How about the fact that every time you give out money to people, they abuse it. As they say, GIVE A MAN A FISH, HE EATS FOR THE DAY, TEACH HIM TO FISH, HE EATS FOR LIFE! That old saying is even more true today!
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 Obviously you think the Hundreds of Billions that would be brought in from those few actions would not help whatsoever. If you're going to act like a Neo-Merc you better be one. You're a broken record you know that? How many times are you going to repeat yourself by telling me that Human Development isnt important? Well want me to listen? Go a month without Food & Water and show me if you're in a state of homeostasis, then I'll listen.
Bronzecop 7 months ago
@Bronzecop You know what bronzecop, if america has no money for social care, it has no money. It cannot go and steal (which its actually doing). If we get bankrupt, the IMF will force us to cut social care, devalue our currency, sell our resources cheap and eliminate trade restrictions. Its just like in real life, you have no money, you cant buy everything you want. Life's a bitch.
phceidem 7 months ago
@Bronzecop I think that a few cuts are necessary, but when the defense of the nation costs less than 9% of the budget, all I hear from you is that cutting 100% of the defense is somehow going to justify the out of control spending "for human development". How about personal responsibilty to go out and get a job. The reason why we have 9.2% unemployment is because people are lazy and wont even consider swinging a hammer, or digging a ditch if it means a job. Not with free unemployment benefits!
jacobew2000 7 months ago
@jacobew2000 Either you're tired or you suck at twisting my words. I said those bases that are unnecessary such as the ones in Spain, France & Greece for example, the ones at home are just fine. I do have a job dummy but spending in education leads to better jobs & people paying more taxes; thus the circulation of the system stays healthy. People areant going to kill themselves at low wage hard labor, 7.25/hour at fastfood or retail is better than hand picking crops in the field for $9.25/hour.
Bronzecop 7 months ago
@phceidem I actually agree with you, it is disgusting that we are spending 622bn on medicare/caid. When you compare spending on defense to that of medicaid, only defense spending is specifically mentioned as a responsibility of the Federal GOVT in constitution. These social programs, are not the responsibility of the Feds, but that of the states via the 10th and 14th amendments. Britian is barely able to keep up with the attacks in Libya, how can they defend themselves? The USA is how!
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 500bn on defence is senseless. Who are we defending against, osama in a cave. We keep building military bases all over the world, building facilities that cost billions to maintain. If we back off thirld world politics, there will be no reason for anyone to show aggression towards the US. As long as we continue causing military coups worldwide, backing dictators like the ousted Mubarak, and bullying small countries, there will always be need to a big military budget.
phceidem 7 months ago
@phceidem If you cut the defense budget, that only accounts for $500billion, and thats if you cut 100% of it. Never mind that we are $2100billion in the hole each year. So you still have to cut somewhere else to balance the budget. Somehow you are forgetting the math. The social programs are bankrupting America. That is a simple fact that the left is lying to the American people that its not social programs that will one day have to stop being giving out as if its chump change.

@Tsugua21 You're weird dude, how can you consider putting money towards the people in education so they can find a career that requires degrees nowadays as communist?
Bronzecop 10 months ago
@Bronzecop read the communist manifesto. Their first thing is to teach the kids that the govt knows all and that there is a collective right to everyone. This breeds a horrible thing called lazyness, because if everything is always given to you, then why should you ever need to be a productive member of society? Thats why communism in russia failed, and china has become communist in name only. They have a capitalist market now in all but the social programs in order to try from imploding.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 The stuff mentioned in the programs are not free, how do you think the public roads get fixed? Taxes, with a free college education you can grab yourself a career that pays a lot more money thus more taxes is payed (21% of $40,000 is more than 21% of $15,000). Is becoming knowledgable really becoming lazy? How about the mason that gets his certification? He knows more thus getting more pay, dont know about you but mason work requires elbow grease.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop Roads get fixed by a public fuel tax that EVERYONE pays EQUALLY at the pump. I never got a free college education. I was middleclass, not poor enough for the grants, and yet not rich enough to pay for it outright. I am still paying those loans years latter. Fed Govt has screwed all our schools for decades. People sold their souls to the Feds for "free education", without realizing that they still get taxed for it in some way. Business simply pass on the taxes in their products.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 Taxes for infrastructure comes from the annual GDP, not just from taxes at the gas station. I dont know what career you obtained from that education but I hope you're playing it smart. More like those from state governments that get into federal positions that screw with the Education System. Taxes pay for that free education, I see no problem with taxes supporting that necessity. State tax from products only help the state unless its like Tariffs.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop Well I do agree with you, but keep in mind that unlike the HC law, the fed govt has the actual constitutional duty to making roads. Whether you like it or not, the states via the 10th amendment has the right to HC control, not the Fed govt. My mother is a teacher for over 45 years, and she is shocked at how bad the public schools has been destroyed by the Fed Govt laws. Liberals have misinterpreted the commerce clause for the past 100 years.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 You're right but state healthcare is different from federal healthcare. The reform is not hindering the states right to provide its own health coverage, now is it? You blame liberals who are the ones supporting the education system for it falling behind but in reality it is your Neo-Merc buddies who are right now trying to cut education funds at the state level. An Act instated by Obama in April 2010 improved education, the neo-mercs are trying to stop its from doing it's job.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop Sure it is. The democratic congress passed the HC act and are claiming that it overrides all the states HC programs, and it further prevents companies from providing insurance. As for schools, my state is heavy democratic and it is in the bottom 3 states most years. A neighboring republican state is in the top 10. Go figure... Why should should anyone allow an OBAMA law of any kind when its the same BS that has been going on for the past 40 years that is destroying us.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 The way state governments are cutting benefits from their health plans, I think the federal government's healthcards has to step in. Why have the people waste their money on over priced insurance when they can save it for other important things like utilities. My state is in the slums on performance as well but that doesnt mean funding should be cut for education. That only makes things worse, even with the funding from the stimulus package helped more kids graduate last year.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop Thats just it. The feds CANT step in as you put it, unless you pass a constitutional amendment that allows them to do what they want to do. Besides, the so-called "overpriced" insurance is actually cheaper than the false ponzi-scheme that is being put to the american taxpayer. The tax payer is subsidizing heavily those who are still not putting anything into the system. If the public schools are shot, why are we not looking at other ways of teaching our kids instead of flushin cash
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 Yeah sure, but when you have a min. wage job that $10,000/year is way more than just that 4% out of your paycheck every payday to maintain a healthcard. Public schools is the only thing the public masses have & certainly a small percent of them are home scholars, its time to build up the public schools up to date like the private schools. Rooting out geniuses is harmful to society, you get very few geniuses from the top 2% as it is. Democracy is coming & I know why you hate it.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop Democracy is coming? LOL... how is an overpowering Federal government that controls and rules over everything that you do be considered a democracy? Ben Franklin warned against a big Fed Govt. He warned that when they set up the Fed Govt system in 1780's that it should only be used for protecting free trade among the states, countries and people, and for defense of the nation and nothing more. What has made America great is our freedom to choose an live, free from govt interference.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 Also, the federal government can step in when the state governments are not doing their jobs. The state governments adhere to the Federal Order, why do you think the word "Respectively" is in the 10th amendment? If it wasnt the southern states will still be practicing Jim Crow. Also education & healthcare provided by the federal government is not an impedement of states power to control themselves. Basic Necessities is the government's job to provide, not the private sector.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop You mention the Federal govt can step in when the state govts are not doing their job, but in recent years, the supreme court has ruled numerous times that that the Feds dont have a blank ticket to override states rights. Regardless of the slave issue which I actually believe was wrong, if you look at rule of law, the southern states were correct in their interpretation of states rights in 1859. Please read the 10th amendment. Where does it say that feds have all the rights?
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 I have read the 10th amendment, the Federal Order can step in anytime when a state is not functioning properly. The federal goverernment even has the right to put a state under Marshall Law if things in that state get really out of hand. The federal government doesnt control everything, they sure do not dictate what job I will have, when I will go to the doctor, participate in group activities or anything like those failure like Stalin, Mao & Kim you're cheaply reffering to.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop Also, if you look at the case NY v US (1992), the supreme court ruled that the Federal govt could not force NY to pay for waste disposal within their states boundries. That is why things federal mandated healthcare will be declared unconstitutional because you are saying that that state isnt "functioning properly" but that doesnt matter if they are or not, because its within their boundries of their state.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@Bronzecop I respectfully disagree that the Federal Govt can step in any time when a "state isnt doing their jobs". That is your opinion, not based in law. The states gave the federal govt specific responsibilities, and all others are reserved to the states. Thats the basis of the 10th amendment. While I am against the "jim crow" laws, technically the south was right in demanding their states rights in the 1850's-60's. I respect lincoln on many things, but he got this one wrong.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 Also there is no complete government authority in all of the programs out there for the people to use, its your choice. Dont want that free education? thats on you, its only there to help. In 2014 you dont have to use that healthcard, you can still go to that private doctor; its your choice. Who says that you have to take that public transportation? Its your choice whether you take it or not.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop With the HC law, there is option to opt out of it. It has destroyed my ability to choose a private insurance provider since no company can compete with the GOVT who can unfairly tax whatever they think they need to keep that social program going. Its all a lie. Pay the private company $100, or the govt $50, plus another $100 in back door taxes to keep the govt mandated program alive. Besides the military, you tell me ONE govt program that isnt over budget. You CANT!
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 I see the reform as a good thing since I already have federal healthcare thanks to the military. And the way these private companies have been avoiding taxes, they should be taxed highly for avoiding taxes for how many years? I rather have everything covered than some ticket that covers 60% of my costs & have it supported just by paying 4% out of each paycheck from all of us. Ever heard of special interest? Thats about 12% of the federal budget & it needs to be lowered.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop and... in 2014, there wont be any private insurance, and there will be even fewer doctors available when millions of more people flood the HC system. Doctors are leaving in droves with those fears plus the fact that the GOVT is telling Docs to charge far less than is even necessary for them to run their practices. They are told to only spend to a limited time per patient. Besides, I am optimistic the courts will toss the whole democrat HC bill out on its butt be4 then anyway.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 I could care less for private doctors, when the federal gov't needs something it gets it done. They'll hire doctors who are willing to take the average federal salary ($100,000/year) plus federal benefits that private doctors will never have. Right now Obama's healthcare plan is too popular & its a death wish for anyone who opposes it, about time we become like our Canadian neighbors in a small sense. These basic necessities are needed for social progress & the people realize that.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop the doctors will go private enmass, and will no longer accept any form of insurance. This will destroy the socialist HC system anyway. A friend of mine is a govt pharmacist and she is leaving the GOVT for a private company in 2 years because its almost TRIPLE the pay. Popular or not, its unconstutional! The supreme court was designed to prevent the passions of the public from overriding commonsense and the law. Besides, it wont matter if its popular if the USA defaults on its debt
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 Do you truly think people leaving the federal level because of greed will end the reform? I'm sorry but I find that as a joke. People will be trained to replace them. Providing a Basic Human Necessity unconstitutional? "because it stops the private sector from obtaining absolute control in a field" LMAO If you haven't noticed a monopoly is against the law. Dont twist words, the supreme court is to stop the "Tyranny of the Majority" the top 2% rich are those who control everything.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop HC is not a "basic human necessity" as you put it. That is a BS line that has been pushed by the liberals for the past 100 years to justify all these social programs that are now bankrupting America. It has created a situation whereby people have no self responsibilty to provide for themselves. I have seen kids who are given everything, and now they are adults that think they must have everything given to them. They are spoiled brats and now spoiled adults! Stop ripping the rich.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@jacobew2000 The U.S. may be in debt, but the U.S. pays about $1 trillion of debt a year, as long as payments are being made (as usual) everything will continue to function. $150 billion a year is supporting the healthcards when we get them in 2014, a simple 1% of the GDP. If you think this is unconstitutional tell that to all of our military personel that their federal healthcare is that. Remember Jim Crow when the states did whenever they wanted? The federal gov't had to put an end to that.
Bronzecop 8 months ago
@Bronzecop You mention that miltary personel get free federal healthcare, but you forget that defense is a specific responsibilty that the constitution gives the federal govt. Our military budget and how we handle the military is a Fed Govt Responsibility. You dont have to join the military. But now a private citizen is forced to get HC. If you want it, then pass a constitutional amendment changing the constitution. Otherwise it is unconstitutional to force HC upon the people.
jacobew2000 8 months ago
@Bronzecop I blame the lawyers for the issue of required degrees now. Years past, you could do on the job training for things like construction, and be a "tradesman" and make a good living. Now you have to go to some college, take a tradesman program and get "certified" to do it. Most of the required courses in college are a rip off. Why do i need a PE or theater course when Im doing a Nurse or Engineering program? 30% dont even graduate from college nowadays, yet cant pay the loans.
jacobew2000 8 months ago

He does not deserve to be a president, especially after watching his last 2 years. He's completely dumbfounded with how to govern with a Republican house majority. He wont even try to compromise.
