The liberal legislature has killed that state and now trying to put farmers out of business by shutting off their water supply. As they say California is the "Land of Fruits and Nuts!" LMAO

I lived in NYC during grad school but am a native SF'er... Welcome to CA. You're just in time for the rainy season, starting around November-ish. And tasty vegan ice cream from Maggie Mudds. Watch out for the craaazy drivers - they're vicious.

Good luck! Nice to have you on the west coast. Check out Berkeley (hippies & a college town, YAY!), Santa Cruz, and Monterey. Lots to do in all those nearby areas on day or weekend trips

It's a great video. Don't despair...as a 34 year SF resident, I can assure you that you'll love it here. You're happy cause you're a happy person...SF will just make you happier. No 25 is still young,. I will be 59 in Jan 2010 and I still don't feel old. The big difference here in SF is the weather...we are much cooler than NYC so get used to it. Bring your sweater and your jacket. You'll fall in love with Baghdad by the Bay. I hope your move goes smoothly. Property here is expensive you know.

I went to NYC for a week this summer. I miss it like crazy! I have grown up in the suburbs (though I lived in the country from age three until 2nd grade...sadly the place has become suburbs as well over the past few years.)

I visit Richmond city a lot, but it is a postage stamp compared to NYC. I'd really wish i could visit there again.
