  • Thanks!

your video really a helpful tool to acknowledge proper use and handling of the volt ohm meter and other electrical devices since these really acquire what you've instructed us. Have a Blessed day!

  • Thanks, Oscar! Was scary sticking something into a live outlet, but this totally worked!

  • You mustache looks like a telephone

  • a volt meter is just a bunch of resistors connected across a input source in different configurations .

  • That is a smart mexican, very rare....thanks

  • it really dont matter which way u put ur probe, it will just give u a negative sign on ur meter, whilst the volts will be the same, also if u place 1 probe in the earth, and u will find out which is the hot side of the receptical and which 1 is neutral.

  • thanks

  • I would say the black probe should be put to the neutral side of the receptical and the red probe would be put into the hot side of the receptical. If the receptical is placed upside down (sometimes it is..) then your "left and right" explaination would be wrong. If your not sure what side of the receptical is neutral or hot, you could pull it out and the neutral is connected to a silver screw whereas the hot wire will be connected to the brass screw.
