I have a signed copy of White Cat that my grandmother got for me when she met Holly Black. As part of her job she has to work with authors all the time which means a lot of signed books for me. She even gets them sometimes before they come out in stores. It's awesome. :)

Again three things :)

1) Read Beastly and LOVED it. Beauty and The Beast is my favorite fairy tale. The original cover was prettier, though.

2) Why are all bordering schools scary and for like, murderers? I'm in one, and you dont see me hacking on my mom..

3) Im going to be chacking out that Story Siren thingy, I saw the website on the Mortal Instruments chapter-hunt.

2. I have no idea. I think boarding schools may have a bad reputation for having "bad kids". Not that that's actually true.

I have a feeling that Beastly is going to be a bad movie. It was supposed to come out last July but got moved to this upcoming weekend. That's not a good sign.

Beastly is a FANTASTIC book. It really does a great job with the BATB story and yet adds it's own flavor to it. I want to see the movie as well, but the book will always be better. And I'm not looking forward to my Book-to-Film adaptation OCD taking over and scrutinizing the film the whole time. Though that happened while watching the trailer and trust me, they messed up a few things BIG by just watching the trailer.
