I really love this version! I've never been overly impressed with this song. Neither Cyndi Lauper's nor Phil Collins' takes did anything for me. But with this rendition, with great singing and that wonderful fiddle, I suddenly realise that this is in fact a great piece of music. Well done, Billy Steinberg!

I've never particularly been a fan of Cyndi Lauper - her voice sort of grates on my nerves, kind of like an ex-wife's voice. This is a very good rendition of True Colors. The good vocales and the nice blend of the instruments makes this a much better rendition than Ms. Laupers. Thanks for posting it.
