I fish the worm slow on the bottom with a few small jerks to make the worm jump off the bottom. The colder the water the slower I worked the worm. If the water is 70 degrees or higher I work the worm much faster. If I feel a bite I dropped the rod tip to the water wait 4 seconds and set the hook.
Norm, where do I start? VERY COOL video. Your hat was wonderful. The fish were really pretty colored so that river must be just wonderful. Did you miss not having your bowfins or gaters in NC? Nice job!
