If your on someones private property or your owb and they gave you permission to hunt you do not have to have a license guys... Nice shooting me n mu buddy are taking our 750 fps .22 titans and goin squirell hunting in his woods saterday
I would shoot a person before I would shoot an animal, no fun in shooting animals unless they have done something wrong and deserve it and we all know people deserve it
@MrMichael1112 750 fps pellet gun is a little shady for a squrriel. your gunna have to get a good shot if you want a quick kill. 1000 or up is the best way to go.
@MrMichael1112 750 is enough, from my experience anything over 550-600 works. my rifle shoots 1000 fps and i use destroyer pellets, that drops squirrels like theres nothing to it
Hi, looking to buy first air rifle for small game like squirrel and such, how many FPS would I need MINIMUM. I'm looking at a ruger right now with 1100 fps,
aww man ive done the same thing this xmas break from school to get ready for spring. i have a yard full of fruit, and as soon as the fruit changes from green to whatever color they might change to....they wipe the entire tree/vine out. ive taken out 11 of these things since school got out in dec. tomorrow will be my last day of hunting, i need at least 2 or 3 more...
@sniper152 I appreciate your comment. I know it looks like I'm baiting and I guess I kind of am, but the fence in the background is the squirrel superhighway and I "bait" them up there so: 1. when I shoot them, they don't fall over the fence, 2. that's the only shoot line I have with no houses in the way, The roof you see to the left is my garage and the small roof you see just above the fence is just an old plastic shed which the squirrels chewed through.
@sniper152 Baiting's a good idea because it speeds up the task of controlling a rodent problem. Better for him to take three shots in the span of 1 hour versus 8 hours, as his time is valuable. As far as shooting with neighbors' houses nearby, it's fine if he's very careful of the backstop area and he can also dial down the power for an extra margin of safety. When pellet gun marksmen are very careful, injury or property damage is extremely rare. Just my opinion...
@grudgingleader I don't because I live in the city and they eat anything and may be carrying disease. Thats why I remove them. If I lived in the country I would.
Great vids. But if you just toss the squirrels away that isn't cool in my book. Squirrel is good eating. Plus I'm pretty sure it against conservation laws. But I don't know since you consider them pest. You can secure your attic so they won't get in. If you are wasting the meat I hope you get caught..... Just saying...!
@flyinasscritter i shoot squirrels and don't eat them, but i do place them outside so the stray cats in my area can eat them, and they certainly do eat them, am i wasting the meat?
just wondering, how are squirrels pests? i live in md and its very tempting for me to shoot em while im out shooting cans... just looking for a decent reason. thanks.
I dont mind you killing squirrels, especially since u get headshots and they die very quickly. But i think baiting them like that is kind of messed up. Justl my opinion though
thanks for the reply, i have to stop the squirrels from getting in my attic and i want to do it as humanely as possible. they are doing lots of damage, thanks again
@2ultramax I love my Marauder. I got the .177 because the pellets are more readily available by me and the biggest thing I shoot is squirrels. A .22 would be overkill.
@KEITHSTONE447 I don't because I live in the city and they eat anything and may be carrying disease. Thats why I remove them. If I lived in the country I would.
nice shooting . I use a bird feeder made out of steel wire and use rebar ty wire to ancor it ontop of a tree limb . I feed them left over deer corn they'll let the acorns rott on the ground iff they can git deer corn . Try the feeder I kill 'em 3 or 4 at a time

@44Tapout 1100 fps is more than enough. I personally would not shoot less than 400fps.

@44Tapout To Kill a squirrel you need at least 700 fps to kill due to the thickness of its skin.
