I don't know why this band gives the Bodhran so much attention even though it's not the main instrument in Irish music???

And why should it not?For all that other musicians say about bodhrans not having a place, or being just bad noise..it tells you as much about the person saying it as it does about the instrument.Would you give other instruments a solo? So why not the bodhran?

It's not about the solos! The Israelis give the bodhoran alot of attention, not like the Irish. You see, when Israelis have Exotic Instrument, they enthuse and exaggerate with the attention they give it!
