It effectively implies that majority parades are ALWAYS bigoted and chauvinist in nature let alone context. Just to tackle the argument preemptively, I also understand the 'how about no pride events' and 'pride for accomplishments, not identity' arguments; in fact, those arguments are 100% valid if the pride actually does amount to a feeling of superiority. But I don't think there's anything wrong with having love or enthusiasm for one's identity. Love and enthusiasm do not NECESSARILY amount to a feeling of superiority.

Sure the whole 'preserving morals' thing is questionable, and maybe the whole point of the parade is to neutralize the gay counterpart, but I don't think people should be discouraged from taking pride in their self identity, whatever it may be.
