1) I just emailed the following to Cathay Pacific customer feedback:

Cathay Pacific has, quite simply, the WORST economy class seats I've ever had the misfortune of sitting in--no exceptions. To compound the problem, they are installed on aircraft that are used for ultra-long-haul flights, which is unforgivable.

I have to wonder if the CEO of your company has ever had to endure the torturous 16-hour marathon from New York to Hong Kong on one of these things. I highly doubt it.

I've flown a lot of airlines the world over both for business and pleasure in all three classes (Economy, Business and First) Cathay Pacific for me ranks in the upmost three in service and quality both in the ground and on board. It always is a pleasure flying with them.

oh ya, I aslo flew with cathay pacific from to toronto to hong kong, then to vietnam, back to hong kong, to china,hong kong then back to toronto. I flew during summer 2006 and the flight attendents wore all sorts of close, it was pretty neat. But it seems to me that they never show any guy flight attendent clothes? Hmmmmmmmmm.

Cathay Pacific is one of the best airlines around you cant beat them I am from Australia and hope to fly for Cathay Pacific when I finish my Diploma in Aviation. Two thumbs up to Cathay for their outstanding work with their revamp of not only their cabin crew uniforms but for having the youngest airline fleet.

...the space for your legs is not enough for a 13-hour flight. I'm only 1,75m, but I had trouble fitting in. And on the way back, 6th of januari, there was a fuel leak in the original plane. There wasn't enough information to decide what to do: take a hotel or wait for another flight. Still, only 4 hours delay isn't really bad for an intercontinental flight I think. And the captain talked to us personally, which is excellent.

Good for you! I give a 3.75 to CX but in EK The delay was so long since we checked in between 5-6am and we waited for 9-10 hours! We proceeded to the Airplane by 3:00 and they only gave us Coffee inside! and my return fligh e.i MNL-DXB they gave us Cold Chicken! while in CX They are concerned in the children's comfort when i was small my brother cried and the crew gave him a Large Sack of toys!!! Go Cx but now i'm flying SQ! But i still support CX!

CX girls are no uglier than SQ girls, or for that matter any other airlines' girls. Commercials are what they are, commercials, tools to present an ideal best that invariably is impossible to duplicate in real life. I've seen plenty of average looking SQ girls that don't even come close to what they have in Singapore Girls commercials.
