Chrome on windows is faster than explorer and friendly but ¬¬' a lot of incompatibilities then crash then doesn't works properly then reset my PC. I think Explorer 8 is slower than Chrome but solid and stable. HomeWork for google :)

First impressions from a long-time FF user & IE hater;

It's quick, looks neat, and I like the dynamic home page, but holy mother of god the adverts... So what if FF is a little slower - I can browse pages without all sorts of banners & annoying little videos getting in the way, plus the vast array of USEFUL addons have got to count for something.

The web is a very untidy and cluttered place without FF, and IE sucks monkey-balls so that's out of the equation for me I'm afraid.

I also think it's got impressive features, and a nice simple, yet effective interface. I liked Firefox and Opera, and completely disliked IE8 mainly due to slow browsing speeds. My new browser.. You guessed it - Google Chrome!! =D

he has a point. the absence of addons/extensions is a big thing. i rely religiously on delicious so i don't lose all my bookmarks if i reinstall or switch to another os etc. plus i make extensive use of the Facebook toolbar. if they were both supported in chrome, i wouldn't hesitate to make it my default browser

Since I use so many addons on firefox, I will only use chrome when i quickly need to open something small and fast. Otherwise I miss all the functionality of the addons! Google needs to include a few other things to their browser IMO. I still find firefox is 1st for me, 2nd is opera and then comes chrome (for which I see a lot of potential).

See, I've heard this but I can't be arsed to download it until I have some reasons, would you mind explaining what makes it so good? Other than the cool tabs I haven't seen much of it, so until someone convinces me I'll continue using firefox and opera~ While the ability to keep tabs without them ALL crashing when one does, I get the feeling that I can open craptons more tabs in Firefox and Opera, and Opera doesn't crash for me evar. The only problem with it, doesn't always render pages right

lol application shortcut is the same shit as if u press Ctrl+S (Save Page As...) and it will save it on ur pc and well u can save it anywhere duh like on ur desktop and just double click that file and it will open up a firefox browser... google chrome is not for me... ill stick with my firefox 3 cuz it looks better and all my bookmarks are there and i got my toolbar all customized... oh and dont forget about all the cool firefox add-ons and all..

i've been using gc since i installed it, what i realized is that gc is not as good with slower computers. i have a pentium 3 where i run basic programs, when i installed gcon it, it wasnt fast like the gc i have in my quad core computer, even ie6 is faster than google chrome in slower computers. gc ftw!!!

Hmm, I use Safari and Firefox on and off. It's not like I don't like Google Chrome (when it comes out for Mac), but it's more like... well I have everything here already, I like Safari and Firefox, so what's really my incentive to download a whole new browser, especially one in beta? I'm using it now its a neat browser but it uses RAM out the ass with it's dynamic tabs. It's a great feature supposedly keeps the entire browser from crashing, it just uses too much ram.
