THe reason why divorce rate was so low before we got the vote, was because that was during a time when it was still frowned upon to get divorced, and the church wouldn't really allow it.

Men and women have different things to give each other. A woman can give a man a boost of confidence, love and companionship, and a man can give a woman protection, children, love, affirmation, the ability to lift heavy things.
Thus a man is suited to work hard to provide for his wife and offspring. A woman is suited, because of her breasts and tender love, to care for the children, and to meet their needs.
