I think the "if it doesn't break your heart it isn't love" line could also be about our relationship with God. If we live each day and see our family and friends unsaved, if we have no burden for the lost, if our hearts aren't in anguish because of desperation to see souls saved, how can we say that we love God?

The more I listen to these new songs, the more it makes me want to buy the CD. I hadn't really fallen in love with Switchfoot's music since "The Beautiful Letdown" (their only album I've listened to several times in my car so far, after which I kinda turned to other bands instead), but the songs on "Hello Hurricane" have a special sound and something warmer than the last two... Yup, I think I'm gonna get this one. :)

@Faunatik You should totally buy their other stuff I swear they only got better after Beautiful Letdown. "Nothing Is Sound" comes after BL and it has such beautiful songs :'3 and then came "Oh! Gravity" which is just amazing and then came "Hello Hurricane" which is so so so so so enlightening. And I just found out that they have a new CD projected for this year called "Vice Verses" which I'm sure will be even better :))

I'll have to listen to their other albums again, 'cause I don't quite remember what it is exactly that I didn't like as much about them (or maybe it's just because I haven't listened to those songs nearly as many times as the ones on "Beautiful Letdown").
