Everyone can be considered overpowered in some way. Tager has good damage output for relatively short combos, but his lack of speed makes for difficult matchups and requires careful strategy. All in all, those easy and good combos come with a hefty price.

Yeah, that damage. I've seen some really long pulls by it as well. I think that's what makes Tager scary. In my opinion, everyone's got something like that though. Carl's Nirvana mixups, Litchi's fast pole and long combos, Arakune's curse and whatnot.

@Insomniblade, do you mean her great wheel super? If you do then I can explain that. Basically, if you press a direction and press D the staff will travel in that direction. You can control each link of its movement path in any direction you want. just remember that you have to press D to imput each direction of its movement.

Haha, saying Ragna is over powered is like saying Clap Loop is cheap. Ragna is like Akuma in a sense, although much lower than where Akuma stands on the tiers. Ragna is exactly in the middle w/ Noel, at least from the most recent listing I've seen.

Nice match still, even though Ragna has a big advantage against all characters, that Litchi player knows how to get out of trouble... Something I am sadly unable to do due to lack of training against an experienced Ragna.

@phoenix9909 It's the same as other characters in other fighting games like him. The idea is that the player has to be overall better (and justly so) sometimes (like Sagat in SF4) characters just have alot going for them mechanically. I mean things INSIDE the game that just give them an edge. Ragna has few if any of those and the only way for Ragna to get a lead is to be gimmicky and tricksy. Similiar to Ken is SF4 and SSF4.

That's why watching Kaqn is so much fun - he WORKS HARD for his wins.

@xRobbyCx yeah ragna reminds of ryu and ken in the fact that he's easier to use, i mean his combos are easy to do and do high damage, and i swear once ragna gets me in the corner the only way for me to get out is to burst lol

@phoenix9909 His better combos are not easy to do (depending on your skill level obviously) and its actually pretty hard for Ragna to keep someone corner trapped. Like I said earlier that because he has to rely on gimmicks, alot of times it's really straight forward and basic block strings. But then again - every character has alot more option open up to them in the once you're in the corner. He has to rely alot of frame traps and just smash through your libra but that doesn't always work =/

You have 1 out of 2 right. Ragna has the 3rd lowest HP (I think) and his game is pretty standard and readable. He's definetly not overpowered.
