  • This video is part 3. She showed detangling in a previous video

  • the truth is she didnt save them she damaged them

  • Thats called "I dont wanna take care of my hair anymore". CUT THE DREADS OFF IF YOU CANT TAKE CARE OF THEM!

  • were can you buy that product from..?

  • - why didn't she show how she got them untangled ? i know when i had to repair locs like that i had to cut the tangled hair to separate them .

  • @AYOmunchy88 she actually pulled dem apart

  • @AYOmunchy88 Because she probably pulled the hell out of the locks but didt want to show it on youtube. I wouldnt buy any product from this person unless she accually shows the process of her fixing the hair and not jut show the before and after shots.

  • @kemosabbie she does, in parts 1 and two

  • I have ordered your products but due to a mix up at my end with the postal services, I'm still waiting to receive them. In the meantime I have had to take my daughter to the hairdressers. But as soon as they come I'm moisturizing her hair as they have used gel and her hair is stiff!! It needed gel, but with the maintenance I will not be using any hopefully. I look forward to pampering myself and my children!!!!

  • Yo can yu do mines.!!

  • WTF! i want to see how she untangled it... MIss me with the BS!

  • the best shit i have ever seen, this lady nice wit the hair... wish she can do my hair lol. really tho!

  • I don't think her locs look thin. With the right products and a gentle technique, this transformation can be achieved without hurting the client And I believe the loctician would like you to buy her videos in order to learn the process she used.

  • you did not show anything, just before and after

  • @ShaneePerfect she probably yanked the hell out of those dreads to get them apart, lol.

  • @BlaQWuhMyn lmfaooooooo right!

  • @BlaQWuhMyn right lhh

  • @BlaQWuhMyn She was loosen major hair on those snakeheads lol

  • @skootb2 lol..I know right

  • the BEFORE PIC is how THEY SUPPOSED TO LOOK.. them thin ones gone fall out..

  • I have a question what locking process is most commonly used by lockticians...single twist, two strand or plait, would you do a sample of all types on the head first then determine the best locking for that client...

  • why dont you show the steps in the process? we saw the before and after, but what did you do in between......................

  • Awesome! Umm Can U Show Ur Method Please?

  • I want my Dreads Like This Woman

  • I wonder if she sat under the drier?

  • Where is your business located

  • I want you educational video!! My mother has locks and I want to teach myself to maintain them. I don't see this video on your site though.

  • My daughters Locs look just like that. How did you get all of the tangles out?

  • is it possible for me to go from dred to sista locs without cutting my hair. I have a pic of me posted on your very informative site.

  • @MzzMona Just comb them out. There are videos of how to it on youtube. Then contacted a trained sisterlock consultant

  • how long were each 1 of her locks and did you use clips to retwist?

  • Hi Phyllis, I live in the UK and Love watching your locktician tutorials. I am trying to find the best product for maintaining my new locks, also I am worried about my temples and thinning of the hair around the base of my hair. My hair is very soft and light. Do you recommend any particular product? Pat from the UK. Thanks.

  • @happy2bbritish Hello H2BB! I'm experiencing the same issue. I've only been loced for 2 1/2 and my edges are thinning. So much so, I've started to free form to re-gain some of the strength and growth back. If and when you are fortunate enough to find either a product and/or solution...please give me a holla. I live in the UK as well, so hopefully there is such a remedy for our issue, Thanks!

  • hello did you twist or latch the locks for your lock repair

  • thats allot of locks..

    I have... 36...

  • is it true once you get dreads you have to cut them out and start growing your hair all over

  • @AdorahT no I removed my daughters with a safety pin

  • @AdorahT There are YouTube videos that give help on removing locks. To soak the locks in water for 15 minutes, soak in conditioner next, and then carefully pick out the locks...but don't give up on your locks just yet. Try some different lock styles first

  • Sister work your magic!! You did a superb job on this young woman, erasing frustration and neglect. No offense to the model in the video, but she opted out of regular maintenance,& possibly to save money. It must have taken a lot to finally go to someone, and she chose this locktician. Yes, you tube's black hair care techniques are normally "shared," but the purpose is to help others make money/save money, so respect her hustle, and cease downplaying her technique like she is trying to get over.

  • Where are you locaed

  • the before and after looks good, but we didn't see what she did.

  • @TheBlackCease

The point is for you to buy her videos to find out what she did...

  • I know I probably commented on this video before but, you do amazing work!!!! when are you going to post another video? I look forward:)

  • her dreads are perfect!!

  • You cleaned that up great!! Great work sis! Where are you located?

  • yes, i see the transformation but how do you do it...this video is not showing instructions on how to untangle, however, the work is beautiful..

  • They were beautiful before you started..... now they dont look as good

  • no reason to pay... do more searches on the net.

  • all i use is gel and mine look like the finished look. dunno what shes putting in there..

  • Hi, when ur dreads ar matted together like so in the video, can they still grow longer? My dreads look exactly like the lady in the video. Mine are just thicker and I have less dreads. Also ur technique is amazing! Watching this video just made me change my mind from giving up and cutting to keeping them. I use "knotty boy" product that I order from canada. Why do u think your stuff is better? (I just asked like 5 questions, lol sorry)

  • Those are some clean Dreads. I need to get mines maintained like that. How many does he have?

Click on my name to Check my dreads out and throw some tips at what you think on it. I'm new to this Dread Locking thing.

  • You did an awesome job! They look so nice!

  • dis video wont help u at all

  • It's because she didn't part em right?

  • NASTY TO CLASSY

    classic

  • Am I missing something I didnt see an actual "technique" one second it was matted and nappy and voila it was separated and looked great

  • its called video editing....she didnt show that cuz she wants ou to buy the video

  • GUACALA ._. ITS SOOO CHINOLIS (CHONO)

  • Her locks are really really nice i love it

  • i need u to do my dreads

  • mi locks skinny like dat wat u put on dem so dey want break off

  • I'm sorry. I'm not saying your products don't work, but finished look is more of your skill than your product. If I purchased your product, my finished look won't look like that.

  • i have had my locks for 5 year now. You showed such a wonderful technique.I never retwisted my locks with out clips. But this is good video. Thanks for posting.

    Peace and Luv

  • amazing technical ability there

  • good job

  • wow, girl you hooked her up! It looks beautiful. Im only 7 plus months into my loc journey. I have awhile 2 go yet. I have alot of breakage b/c I twist alot, so it looks nappy..what do you recommend I do, VideoProfits? Thanks 4 sharing.

  • sistalocs is gyal locs sorry fi dumb question....just wanna kno

  • No, men can wear Brotherlocs...same style, just a different name.

  • damn i like them im just waiting for mines to lock i cant wait

  • not.....she was washing it...very frequently, thats why it got tangled.... her hais was actually very clean... do u have locs, u must dont

  • thats about right. She wasnt twisting very often either. Looks good, a little too thin for ne but pretty. Bet it cost her an arm to get that done.

  • does that client have sisterlocks too?

  • What did you do?? this video showed me nothing

  • i agree!

  • Wow! You really know what you're doing. :-)

  • You did a GREAT job. Thanks for sharing your expertise.

  • great work but u didnt show how to get it untangled ....

  • I think you have to purchase the DVD for that. She also gave a lot of info in parts 1 & 2.

  • She showed it in videos one and two ;)

  • she keepin dat info exclusive lol... to make more money! haha

  • @jerrymoody3 Im going to say that she cut the hair where its tangled & made one lock into 3 or 2 locks. Thats my opinion. I would love to see her untangle those locks.

  • @jerrymoody3 took the words right out of my mouth...

  • wow.. her lux are long.. damn.. I'm jealous now :(

  • thin long dreads will fall out...the longer it gets, the thicker it should be.

  • true that

  • How do you become a loc stylist such as your self?

  • very nice set of locs

  • Beautiful work!!! 4 real!!!

  • i cant wait til mines get that

  • omg its a miracle! lol

Great work, at the start of the video..I was thinking "oh hell naw" but woow, I have to give you maximum props.

I have a question, I noticed that a couple of his dreads was pretty thin near the roots as expected from all the major damage. Is there a way, technique of sorts to repair thin roots because I have a have a few that need some attention asap. A few ppls suggested that I just combine the thin dreads together but I feel that it may take away some fullness.

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • threadlocks?

  • question: I started my husband locks and their very frizzy and only locked in the middle of the dread and they are very puffy. my quesrion is How do i tighten dreads?

  • Question. The friz on the locks, do they go away with continuous twisting techniques or do they always stay fuzzy?

  • how do you keep the locks from untwistingand make them stay??

My method is...ripping loose hairs off a lock....and twisting it around the lock, starting from the root and work your way up, works great! :)

  • Hi bulelion4444. I just use a very firm twisting technique that doesn't require any additional breakage of the hair. Thanks for posting and have a great hair day.

  • I have a question, my loctician doesnt use clips when she retwists my locks and ive had them for about 3 months is that going to cause a problem laterr on?

  • Hi hydvn6. No, that will not cause a problem. Clips are generally used to help hold and set the twisted hair as it dries during your grooming session. I too, very seldom use clips to hold the hair. I only use them when the hair is of a silkier, softer texture and when the twists actually begin to unravel just as qucikly as I twist them. Remember, for most of us, we have that good ol' nappy hair which doesn't require clips to stay twisted. Apparently you have "good hair" - LOL. Great question

  • no, before her hair looked tangled and dry and after it looked oiled and healthIER!!! reply to comment "Purushadasa"

  • In both cases, her hair was tangled -- thats what dreadlocks are.

Before, it was a natural, healthy look, and after, it was an unnatural, unhealthy, thinned-out at the root look, which will eventually cause hair loss.

Thicker at the root is natural and will last, thin at the root is unnatural and will not last.

  • as long as you are not twisting too often u are fine

  • genius!!!

  • Problem is that locks ARE tangles.

Pulling them apart makes them very thin near the root (as you can see in this video), and after you do what you did to this woman, the locks will fall out because of all the breakage that you caused near the roots. With most of the locks' weight and bulk down below, they will easily get pulled out by gravity.

  • The reason why they naturally get thicker near the root is because it is a stronger design: more tangles near the roots, thicker near the roots makes for permanent locks.

The system shown in this video destroys locks and causes bald spots and destruction of the locks.

They looked better before, sorry to say.

  • Hi Purushadasa. I don't know how much experience you have with hair locking, but I've been maintaing Tiarra's hair for over 5 years and she has not lost a single lock. The locks look thinner near the scalp because the hair there is not locked. It's loose hair that is twisted. The hair near the scalp has not expanded, entangled, contracted or budded, which are stages of the locking process. Your comments are still welcome regardless of how negative they are. Have a great day and thanks 4 posting.

  • Hi Purushadasa. I accept your opinion. What is un-natural and unattractive to you may not be the same for others. Apparently you appreciate a more organic look and maintence to your locks. I can appreciate that. My interference as you prefer to call it, is just another way to groom locks. Again, I am very open and respectful of "your opinion". Have a great day and thanks for posting.

  • I also respect your right to your opinion.

The difference is that mine is not monetarily motivated, but comes from experience and the understanding that locks are meant to be natural, not artificially changed.

  • Hi Purushadasa. Again, Thank You. Have a great day.

  • @VideoProfits You are a true professional. How very tactful and actually nice of you! You sure could teach a few folks some things! lol

  • you have no idea what u are talking about sorry..

  • Oh yes I do. I had dreadlocks for many years.

  • Whats wrong with using A comb?

  • DAMN u a beast

  • locs are so BEAUTIFUL!!!!! only when u take caree of them of corse

  • Comment removed

  • locks existed before the first rasta and the big 3 religions

  • can u lose locks? like the way u take out braids????

  • can box braids turn into locks?

  • yes ...look up braidlocs. I don't have them but they can be as small as some sisterlocks.

  • yes. that is how i started. my braids were extremely loose. i maintain by interlocking

  • If started locking my hair already and not quite sure what size it'll come out to be or the stability of the roots, is the anyway to determine that?

  • Hi African Assassin. Yes, an experienced locktician can determine the size of your locks. It has to do with the density and texture of your hair. That's why many people get their locks started by an experienced locktician and then take over the grooming themselves. That's a skill that comes with experience.

  • omg man mi mom twistes mines but she dosnt twist from the root so they cum loose nd i dnt kno how to do dem mi self u need to do mine lol plz

  • I never had loc extensions. I started it with my real hair(braid it in small plaits), how long should my hair be to retwist it? The reason why I am asking because in a few place my dread locks has been thinning out. It started happening when I didn't retwist my hair in a month and a half, but my grandma she retwist when she has like 3 inches of new growth and every thing is good with her hair. I use hair gel because the wax is to think and wouldn't hold. Do you have tips?

  • and how do you retwist her hair without using clips?

  • you may be over twisting your hair or you may be styling it too tightly. not twisting your hair for 1.5 months will not cause it to thin. in fact, twisting it often will promote thinning

  • Wow. do u have tips on hair growth bcuz i just started some dreads?

  • can you make a vid. on removing lint from the locs. I have 3 small children with loc and can not keep their head cover

  • where are you located because, i am looking for a good locktician, like yourself

  • Hi 09mydude. I'm located in Delaware.

  • Ok thanks a lot.

  • Amazing video!i am actually having a part problem with my hair. is it possible to clean up original parts to locs that have been latced/interlocked? i would love to get more information on your dvd!

  • Hi I like the vid a lot and you did a very good job on her dreads. I just wanna ask you how long do you suggest my hair be to get a " satisfying " length to start off with. Im a 16 year old black male and im not exactly sure about my hair length because I have two-strand twists right now but with the two-strands my hair length is about 6 inches so it should be a little bit longer without the twists in.

  • Hi drrkthompson. As long as your hair is long enough to pinch and twist, you can start the locking process. I've started locks where the hair was about an inch. You could have started several months ago. The great thing about starting with several inches like yours is the hair won't unravel completely. Your coils or twist will stay together better, which will help with your locking process.

  • hi there-you do GREAT work! do you need a license in your state to do locs?

  • Hi cheleski68. Thank you. No. A license is not needed in my state.

  • I work on my fiance's hair and I've taken his hair through a similar situation on numerous occasions. I like how you show the before and after but you don't show what you did. Instead, you refer to this "system" of yours. I guess your main interest is to make money. I am sorry if this comes off negative but I didn't learn anything from your video. It was a complete waste of my time. I have never had formal training and everywhere we go, people want to know who did my fiance's hair.

  • Hi 800lbgrollainc. I usually don't address comments like this because it's a total waste of my time. My job, which I do very well and get paid for very well, is not to teach you anything...unless, of course, you PAY for my services. I'm providing and sharing information that I am very passionate about and I've shared enough FREE information that many have relayed is very useful and helpful to them. I'm sure you'll eventually find the FREE info that you're looking for. Have a great hair day.

  • it would have been equally great to see it from the front view as well. great job though

  • Hi BlaqHQ. It's difficult for my clients to always agree to show their faces in such a public forum and be open to critical comments like the one above. But when they give their permission to show the front, I will always allow you to see it as well. I'm sure you understand. Many thanks for watching and have a great hair day.

  • Is it possible to make locks like that on a white man?
