It sounds like he's recorded his own live tracks over garage band loops. Someone good is singing at the beginning, and there are a couple of string parts in there too, he copies the loops on real instruments. Really nicely done.

Skydiving is very safe if you compare it to other extreme sports. I mean think of any other scenario except where the reserve fails(like SUPER rare) and there is a system to save you. You could jump out of the plane, and get knocked out and you're parachute will still deploy.

Cool film, but skydiving is only life threatening when done by people who have no idea what they're doing. The only way to die is if your parachute doesn't "open." Of course that is very hard to achieve because as long as you have the parachute on your back, you can pull it out manually too if it fails to open. Plus, you have have a backup on your vest if you're afraid.

Actually, most skydiving fatalities nowadays are under completely open parachutes. We've come up with more creative ways to kill ourselves now that gear is safer :(

That said, tandem deaths are very rare indeed.

What you've said is very in accurate. If you don't know what you're doing then you shouldn't be in the air. Depending on what kit your using it doesn't open automagically, you have to manually open it too. And the backup is in the same bag, not your vest and is called a reserve. If your kit does open automatically (Static Line) but doesn't open then you've got a rare case of SLHangup where the plane drags you along. They normaly knife the line and you have to rely on ur res.
