When using the ADC with the joystick, is the pan/tilt mechanism proportional, or simply on/off in corresponding directions? Also, for future projects, look into using Atmel AVR microcontrollers; they are way better! Good job guys. I don't think I could get away with firing a gun in my school (WSU, go Cougs!)

On what basis does AVR > PIC?  All he was doing was simple ADC stuff. Heck, all he needed for the joystick was a piece of crap 16F88. And the 40-pin he used for the guns (hopefully an 18Fxx31) has a complete submodule that can control the H-bridges he used. PIC is perfect for this application.

i'd like to see one that auto loaded. but you dont need the fancy electric fueling and igniting system, its just more to go wrong and eat up a budget, all of those systems could have been easily replaced with mechanical systems. With the exception of the analog aiming system, which I thought was neat, but could have been easily simplified.
