If you recall, Linda Evans didn't want to stay on and do Dynasty any longer so the writers had to write her out of the storyline without killing her so that she could possibly return, as was the case in the Reunion in 1991.

for the record, nothing "CAUSED" Krystle's tumor. (especially not the catfight in the Lily Pond) it was written, that Blake always knew about the tumor, but had no idea it would get so bad so soon.

In the later seasons of "Dynasty", Blake and Kyrstle were in a spectacular limosuine accident that flipped on its side. However, Krystle's tumor was blamed on the time she had fallen from the horse.
Krystle is acting strange because the effects of her developing brain tumor were manifesting. The brain tumor was caused by Alexis when they fought in the lily pond where Alexis pounded her over and over with a drenched hat on the head!!
Before this overdone scenario of writing an actor out was thought out I wouldd ahve sat the cast down and said "look, will everyone stick around if we srite the series out?" This was just way too preditable and just awful to write Krystle out like this. Linda, Joan and Michael were leaving..just let the show go gracefully. It wasn't to be though..
I thought she developed brain problems from car accident she suffered at the hands of a drunk driver... it was the season after La Mirage burned down...
The original gray color didn't do much for the corridor..I liked the contrast. I have always wondered where the painting of Fallon went..been trying to find it but no luck (though several people associated w/the show do have souviners).
