My bunny thumps when she wants to get out her cage (she is out 8-15 hrs a day in her own room), she wants you to come in her room, when she hears a noise and for unknown reasons! Luigi either heard something or it's an unknown reason. My bunny, who is a Mini Lop/Rex mix, will thump one second and start grooming herself the next. It's too funny. It's like she's mad for a second and she's fine the next.

She also thumps when I am watching a video online. Must be something about the sound.

@penceys it's just unknown to us because our hearing is nothing like theirs. we don't hear anything, so to us it's nothing. to them, it's something that may be coming to get us or them! :-) their thumps can sometimes let you know that company is coming before you realize it.

my rabbit does that too sometimes, when she gets scared. I never know what it is that scares her, though. When she heard Luigi her ears went waay up.
