It's been done before. In fact, at least as early as the eighties. What is interesting though is you can only tell in the dark, say in a large parking lot with no lighting around for miles. The second you're on the road, ambient lighting and streetlamps would rob the viewer of any knowledge that your car was glowing. In fact, if they saw your car on a totally pitch-black road, the only way they would ever know you had it was if BOTH of you shut off your headlamps.

I think its ok.. i don't really like it.. maybe a little pin stripping or some kind of design. Even a little outlining your racing stripes would look better. Or maybe get it in a translucent type of color. Something you don't really notice till its night time... If you look on house of kolor website, you can get it in plenty of different colors.
