@cannedkitty you're just categorizing and you havent even been out there enough.. i live right in downtown Chi, full of all races, i know hispanics/african Americans,asians etc that are hardcore indie/rock fans not "stupid music like hip hop" fans....just because a person "looks" a certain way doesnt mean they have to listen to a certain type of music. and at shows its predominanly white people that see the shows cause all the white kids come from the burbs, especially if its a big band like AC.

I'm actually Mexican and I'm just being ironic because I'm really insecure and I feel uncomfortable in scenes that are pre-dominantly white so I go on these channels act like a white racist to see if any white people will come and defend minorities cause that would reassure me and make me feel less in insecure. I am a musician and listen to a broad spectrum of music and go to tons of shows in ultra diverse Los Angeles, but it's still difficult.

@gogobionicgirl its just pop music..i dont think one could ever really "get into them" but there few singles catch your ear for 120secs...for a few listens..then are forgotten..thats a complement of best coast btw..even that trivial sounding pop music feat is really hard to do i suspect.

I heard this song playing during a The Wedge ad. I wanted to know what song it was so bad 'cause I just loved the sound of it. A week later I heard it playing on MTV. I wasn't able to catch the name though because right when I flicked to the channel it stopped playing. I went to the much music website and I looked at The Wedge. They had a bunch of music videos. You know, I played nearly every music video there until I came across this one. I was so happy I had finally found it.....

I heard this song playing during a The Wedge ad. I wanted to know what song it was so bad 'cause I just loved the sound of it. A week later I heard it playing on MTV. I wasn't able to catch the name though because right when I flicked to the channel it stopped playing. I went to the much music website and I looked at The Wedge. They had a bunch of music videos. You know, I played nearly every music video there until I came across this one. I was so happy I had finally found it.....
