  • This is available through Netflix on DVD, FYI........

  • i lost my dvd "fumbling towards ecstasy" 2 yrs ago and cant find it anywhere in stores. it was an original bought years ago when it first came out and actually had the interactive portion included with original artwork and everything. i watched that thing 10 times a week and would have given anything to have been there at Pierre Marchand's home studio for those recordings!

this vid is from that dvd and should be considered one of the rare few gems of musical history!!

  • Sarah is One of the most eloquent songwriters of our time. It's women like Sarah that make life itself all the richer...A truly beautiful soul; she has gaced us with her presence...God Bless Sarah, her band mates and her family:-)

  • This is from the DVD ,fumbling towards ecstacy ,One of my favorites because I like to see inside the studio where the magic is created.

I'm a Guy and think Sarahs so talented its unbelievable.

Shes got it all, voice, playing ability, looks.

She was in the front row when all this was handed out, even though she says its hard work, she is gifted still.

  • I agree with you Razrv31c... the most underrated song. This is actually my my very favorite Sarah McLachlan song... speaks to me....

  • This is the most underrated song ever. It's so strong, but it's so little known.. One of my favorites.

  • @razrv3lc : This is probably the greatest song in the history of civilization. And the way her voice just slightly cracks at the very end is DEVASTATING.

  • Not to sound overly dramatic, but this is probably the most epic song in the history of recorded music.

The way her voice cracks in the final second (4:00) is nothing short of devastating.

  • Wonderful document... it's not easy to shoot with multiple cameras at close range without making noise... in a tiny tiny room... Bravo

  • So beautiful....thank you Sarah.

To me this song is the Spirit talking to one who comes seeking a vision but is unable to let go.
