David Cook Acoustic "Drive" 4/28/11

This was at the Radio station FreshFM 94.7 outside of Washington,DC. I just entered the stations contest and I won along with 9 other people-got to each bring someone so there were 20 of us there. David was there to promote his new single at that time~ "The Last Goodbye". It was truly amazing & I still feel so lucky to have been there.

This is really cool. I wonder if he go the idea to cover this because his favorite band Our Lady Peace covered it on their 2003 DVD. He sang it similar to the way they did in some parts

He started laughing at around 3:20 as someone's cell phone starting ringing-you can't hear it very well in my video but he does say something about a phone. I bet it did remind him of Vegas and the dogs barking during this song. LOL

Beautiful. I wasn't real fond of this song by the original group. When David sings it, he puts so much of himself into it, I not only forget the original artist, it's kinda like David's the original artist. Hope that makes sense. Love, love, love it.
