@beckbox1 i think u have to be able to do a backhandspring, this tops thing probably has some sort of requirement. What is a box split? Ive done a backhandspring be4 but i think its not good enough to get into tops yet.

@Kgrl121 Im sad to hear your coach is so uneducated. TOPs is an elite training program for elite gymnasts in training and their coaches. Im sad to hear that some people are so ignorant sometimes. Not all gyms do TOPs, and thats fine, but making up stupid things like that is just sad. Maybe she doesnt understand TOPS.

@gymfinitycoach No acctually she used to do it and than thought it was a joke and said I can coach em better than those other people. I mean she's a Russian coach and she coached svetlanna boughinski (spelling) and bunch if other peoples. And she's not excactly my coach any more but I have beaten MANY people that are on tops DIMOND teamwhen I was still in gymnastic. . It's really a waist of time.

@Kgrl121 perhaps she did it a while ago. The program has grown a lot and produce many olympic and national team members. Im sure she is a good coach, but that doesnt make the program stupid or the gymnasts in it bad. Some of the most talented kids in the country are a part of it. I know a lot of talented gymnasts in it and a lot that are not a part of it. The TOPs program give young talented gymnasts the opportunity to be a part of a national camp with our national team coaches.

@Kgrl121 if your coach is better than the national team staff she should step up and help our country to be the best they can be. For some kids who wont make it in the program it is a waste of time. but for those who do, its a great opportunity. If it is used as a tool or a stepping stone, it can be a great thing!

If your coach is all that why isn't she out there showing the gymnasts how to do things her way, I mean you claim she is so good. Right? So, why don't you jus be quiet, TOPs is a great program.
