Rather, the ergotamine can be used as a precursor that has to be treated by man in chemical processes before becoming LSD. LSD-25 proper does not occur in that form. as far as i know. similarly, LSA occurs natually in morning glory, but this one is certainly dirtier and harder to take physically than the cleaner burning psychonautic rocket fuel we all know and love.

while that is a common experience you are generalizing the actual experience a lot (and i mean a lot) more than you should. if you are seriously interested in DMT then read Strassmans "The Spirit Molecule". not everyone has that experience (although it is quite common). and no one is sure as to whether or not it "causes" dreaming; i believe it influences it (as pineal secretion peaks at around 3-4 am), but doesn't cause it.
