8:15 all the people do is put a certain chemical in the wax and the wick of the candle and they burn a different colour. I haven't the slightest idea of what chemicals you're meant to use but theoretically you could make your own colour candles by melting the chemical into the wax

Fireworks show up certain colors because there are certain minerals in them that make them the colors they are. For example, if you burn salt, it will burn yellow, but if you burn copper sulfate it will burn green. It's mostly what chemicals are present.

About red candles--things burn different colors depending on what you're burning. Gas burns blue because it's a more pure flammable source, but campfires are orange because they're burning much more "filler" than a gas flame. It also has nothing to do with heat. Color relies on what's being burned, that's why things like green fire exist. :D

Gas flames are blue (because there is more enriched oxygen than in a wood fire) but there are still blue flames from a wood fire. Just not as noticeable. Also, take for instance a candle flame. If it's burning at a lower temperature it'll look more red. At a higher temperature it will be more orange, then the hottest flame is white. The reason why flames change color outside of that range (ex. green) is because of oxidation (flames are red b/c of soot)

I'm getting insanely tired of the whole "humanistic mannequin/suit of armor sneaking up behind you and following you without touching you, ooooo, you're surrounded!" thing. Seriously.
