I'd love for that to be the case again, but doesn't look that way :(

@Daniel5506 Well, it does make sense to a certain extent. They're covering so little from when he acts serious that they still need his "Tobi" persona, and when he's serious he seems like such a big deal that they might as well just use the awakening. Surely, he'll be a completely new character in the game after Generations.

They did change his name displayed in the game from "Tobi" to "Madara" like in UNImpact though.

@animegamer123100 As good as those games are, it's not original. Those use the same fighting engine that other Wii fighters have used as well (does the name Kamen Rider ring a bell?)

It's real easy to make a solid game with a basis on something that's already solid. The Storm games are still being improved based on what used to be a 2D masher. Not as easy.

I know you are just doing it to show the new features but I can already see someone using the move canceled with characters such as Sage Naruto & Sasori 2 of the most spammed people used in Ultimate Ninja storm 2

@mookie819 It's never gonna be spammed a lot because it takes a lot of chakra. The we're all playing this demo is fine because we're playing agains the cpu. There is NO WAY we'll be able to spend all our substitutions and our chakra on cancels when playing against a real person.

Whoever spams that will actually lose really fast in a real match.

Nothing is confirmed about the European or North American demo having a Xbox version, but I'll make note of that for sure.

I didn't give this much thought until now but I'm kind of worried about the story mode. It might be too early to judge but it looks like CC2 is going back to using still images and text/narration rather than 3D cutscenes. Also, there has been no news on boss battles so far. I'm starting to worry that they might not be in this game.

@shikamaru5608 Well, I see what you're saying, but, at some point, they're gonna have to cut down somewhere. Personally, I don't think this is what the story will look like. Yeah, it'll be just battles (maybe with no boss battles) but I'd be very surprised to see them use 4:3 pillerboxed pictures....when they're using over a hour of new animation.

I think it's the animation clips that will serve as the story for the battles.

We don't need a great story, but we do need great gameplay and that is what we are getting.

@Solorflare99 I agree that fighting mechanics are more important than story. I'll be getting the game even if there are no boss battles. It's just that boss fights were icing on the cake for storm 2 in my opinion.

@shikamaru5608 I agree that the boss battles were the attraction, but think of the bright side: there still HAVE to be big, epic battles even without the boss fights considering the game has KM naruto. (KM naruto = naruto has to fight the nine tails in the game = either boss battle or you have to fight a tailed beast as a character!!!)

This demo is actually really great.

Its too bad that in this demo you only do fights with Naruto against Sasuke, Pain and Madara but still the demo is really fun and I'm definitely going to buy this game!

Wow I'm actually impress with the demo lol I'll get this game now. The gameplay looks a lot smoother and faster then it was in storm 2 good. Cancel is nice, but the only downside to it is that it's takes ur charaka to use :P. New movesets or specials for some of the characters nice, especially sage naruto >:). Can u use awakening from the start now or is it just for story mode?

@Blazes341 I would hope we could use them like that, but this was only for the purpose of the context they used for the battle. We also had stuff like that in Storm 2 where you would be the 4 tailed fox the entire match, or fight against 8 tails Bee for the entire match

@jaysonpeters You can chakra dash in the air now (and, of course, the cancel as well).

When you throw shurikens as well as chakra shuriken you became vulnerable for about a second (bye-bye shuriken spamming)

The characters have been re-balanced. For example, Sasuke no longer has the long shuriken throw and they completely changed Sage Naruto.

One button for guard and one for substituition.

Sub bar allows for 4 subs and takes about 14 sec. to fill up (gets filled by taking combos)

Duvido que façam o Tournament Mode offline, mas o Survival é possivel.
